The Right Angle Clamp makes projects with 90° joints faster and easier than ever by giving you the helping hand you need to hold the parts in position as you drive in the screws. Just slip the pin on the Right Angle Clamp into a pocket hole, close the clamp and it draws the mating pieces tightly together. The swiveling clamp pad opposite the pin grabs the mating piece securely. Thanks to Automaxx Auto-Adjust Technology, the Right Angle Clamp adjusts to match the material automatically with a simple squeeze of the handles. This handy clamp works with all kinds of materials, from thin 1/2 in. plywood to thick 2×4 boards.
- Holds pocket-hole joints at 90° during project assembly
- Automaxx technology adjusts automatically to material thickness
- Contoured grips for added comfort
- Pin fits securely into pocket hole
- Swivel pad holds mating piece
- Clamp using the pocket hole
- 5 in. (127 mm) reach

Works in conjunction with the Kreg pocket hole system, to help hold pieces together while you run the screws in. Makes the process much easier; a little pricey but worth it.

Clamped worked as expected; wish Home Depot carried more Kreg products.

I also own the older model (no auto adjust technology) and needed a second one. Could only find the Automaxx version so I gave it a try. Clamp is ok but does not work as smooth as the previous version. Sometimes fails to clamp at all and you need to open and re-close the clamp for the auto adjusting mechanism to engage. Sometimes the clamping pressure is too high or too loose for no reason and despite adjusting the small pressure wheel thumbscrew. Also, disengaging the clamp sometimes requires too much force and snaps the pocket hole.I like Kreg products and own several of them but honestly…this one does not make me happy.

Works well but practice first.

Get the one with the bigger opening

The clamp works good. I’m not a fan of the placement of the adjustment screw. It sticks and is hard to adjust.

I am making a project right now that by the plans requires about 120 pocket hole screws to build the frame. While I do know there are other ways to make the connection this clamp will give you, I can tell you this really speeds things up and give a very strong clamp. Glad I have it. The other side of the coin is out of those 120 pocket holes, was only able to use this clamp on about 30 of them and besides doing pocket holes, not sure if this clamp really has much of a use. So if you are using a lot of pocket holes on your projects, get yourself this clamp, if not, this clamp is pretty expensive for a once in a blue moon use.

It took some getting use to in order to learn how to be comfortable operating the adjustment but, the tool works great.
