The Right Angle Clamp makes projects with 90° joints faster and easier than ever by giving you the helping hand you need to hold the parts in position as you drive in the screws. Just slip the pin on the Right Angle Clamp into a pocket hole, close the clamp and it draws the mating pieces tightly together. The swiveling clamp pad opposite the pin grabs the mating piece securely. Thanks to Automaxx Auto-Adjust Technology, the Right Angle Clamp adjusts to match the material automatically with a simple squeeze of the handles. This handy clamp works with all kinds of materials, from thin 1/2 in. plywood to thick 2×4 boards.

This clamp is too size specific. I needed to clamp a one and a half to a 4 by 4. The clamp would clear the 4 by 4, but the teeth would not spread far enough apart to hold. Strictly for two-by-fours and less

I can’t even imagine getting a flush pocket screw joint without using one of these. Worth every penny if you’ll be doing a lot of pocket screw work.

There needs to be a “maybe” on the would you recommend this product question. In my experience, if you’re buying this to put in the pocket holes to hold them in place, you better be doing it in wood that won’t crush (pine, plywood) or crack(hardwoods). In other words I found it rather useless for that. I did however find it quite useful for holding thinner material to the edge of thicker material. The large face will hold one side flush, while the pin side pushes on only the thinner material from the other side. As far as Automaxx is concerned, I’m not all that convinced. I think I would like a traditional clamping system so that I know if will work every time once I get it adjusted.

The clamp does what it’s designed to do so on this criteria I would recommend it. It is limited in size for some larger projects but worked fine for the smaller joints. If picture frames and similar joints are your thing then this tool works great. It is a little costly but does get the job done.

This is a really nice clamp to have if you are into the kreg pocket hole system. Very limited usage if you don’t use pocket holes. I really think it is a must if you are trying to line up multiple pocket holes.
