The Concealed Hinge Jig takes the guesswork out of installing cabinet doors using concealed hinges. The Concealed Hinge Jig allows you to drill cup holes for concealed cabinet door hinges (sometimes called Euro hinges) using just a drill. The jig positions an included carbide-tipped bit exactly at the proper position and offset and drills to the perfect depth every time thanks to adept stop collar. The Kreg Concealed Hinge Jig takes the guesswork out of drilling those holes and allows you to do it with nothing more than a drill and the carbide-tipped bit that comes with the jig. Note: A 1/16 in. bit is required to drill for hinge-mounting screws. Not included. The Concealed Hinge Jig consists of a glass-filled nylon base with a hole that receives a drill guide. Indexing cams ensure that the jig positions the bit to drill a hole at the required offset which is dictated by each hinge and a built-in stop collar ensures that the cup depth is correct every time. There are even holes that you can use to guide a bit for hinge screw holes. The Concealed Hinge Jig comes with a high-quality, carbide tipped bit to ensure great results. Just pick out your hinges, look up a few basic mounting instructions that come with them and then set up the Concealed Hinge Jig by adjusting a pair of built-in cams. After that, you are set to drill hinge cup holes using any ordinary drill.

Used it per the instructions and still ended up making holes in some of my door frames (too close to the edge). Just go with a deeper inset than it recommends (5mm vs 3mm) and make up the difference in adjustment on the hinge. Otherwise you damage the door.

worked great. rather than pay someone to drill them, I could do it myself, and more than paid for the tool.

Easy to use. Easy to setup. Kreg just makes life easy in the workshop. Only improvement would be for a dust collection port.

I have routed doors that I am converting from traditional hinges to concealed Euro hinges. I wanted the jig for drilling the 40 cup holes, and it worked great on a straight-cut sample board. However, the stops on the backs of the cams are not long enough to grab the true edge on a routed cabinet door, so the placement of the cup is not correct (luckily, I was watching for accurate placement before I drilled on the actual door). I thought about making a jig for the jig, but I was able to find a jig at a woodworking specialty shop (though it cost 3 times the price of the Kreg jig). Thank you to Home Depot for taking the return. I did a lot of research before I made the purchase, but I didn’t find any indication that this jig wouldn’t worked on a routed edge until after I set it up and tried it. I contacted Kreg tool to see if they have cam extensions, but they don’t, and it wasn’t until I googled exactly looking for a routed edge issue that I found one obscure reference on a wood working site. For straight edged doors, I think this jig would work well.

Worked great. Saved me a lot of time with 20 cabinet doors. Only thing is the chips get clogged up in there. Used my compressor to blow them out as I was drilling and it was fine.

This concealed hinge jig is so easy to use and made our hinge prep so easy. I would give it 5 stars except for one thing. you cannot easily set a guide for shallower Hole. It went thru beveled trim on our doors the first time. We found a way to work with it. Still highly recommended.

The Kreg Concealed Hinge Jig made a process of adding hidden hinges as easy and consistent as simply clamping two clamps. The accuracy of hinge placement is perfect. Great jig for the money.

The Kreg Jig works quickly and efficiently. Not sure about the long term durability, but it did last through 10 doors. Unlike the router based version this replaced for me, no mounting provision or alignment holes for the cup side screw holes.
