Whether you are updating your cabinets or building a project from scratch, adding hardware like knobs and pulls is often 1 of the final steps and 1 of the most intimidating. The Cabinet Hardware Jig features moveable, hardened-steel drill guides that lock in place to align with common hole-spacing measurements for cabinet knobs and pulls. This allows you to confidently drill straight, accurately positioned holes. A moveable edge guide and built-in measuring scales (in imperial and metric) ensure that those holes will be positioned where you want it every time, which means you can drill as many holes as you need without the uncertainty and potential mistakes that can come with measuring and marking everyone. The Cabinet Hardware Jig is designed to be intuitive for beginners to use, but robust enough for professionals. All you need is a drill and a 3/16 in. bit and the ability to set the jig to match your hardware and the position where you want it to go. NOTE: 3/16 in. (5 mm) drill bit required – does not come included.

For a plastic jig, it works very well. The only concerns I had were: I wanted the handles closer to the edge of the door, but it doesn’t go that far in. It worked out anyway.The drilling guides got very hot after use.

Great if you are installing hardware on a completely flat surface. My drawer faces have recessed panels. Be warned if your cabinet drawers have a recessed panel a this jig will not work!

Easy to assemble. Only wish they would use/build with more metal components. As I use it, I cringe when I watch the guides start to move. I keep checking to make sure it’s ok and keep going. The center location marks are easy to discern. I also used a Kreg hand clamp to hold it in place. It’s a good idea, just be cautious as it is just plastic.
