The Kreg Cabinet Hardware Jig takes the guesswork out of installing cabinet knobs and pulls. The moveable edge guide and measuring scales make it easy to position knobs precisely, while adjustable drill guides ensure straight holes for perfect knob and pull positioning every time. Perfect for new construction and for refreshing entire rooms. Whether you are updating your cabinets or building a project from scratch, adding hardware like knobs and pulls is often 1 of the final steps and 1 of the most intimidating. The Cabinet Hardware Jig features moveable, hardened-steel drill guides that lock in place to align with common hole-spacing measurements for cabinet knobs and pulls. This allows you to confidently drill straight, accurately positioned holes. A moveable edge guide and built-in measuring scales (in imperial and metric) ensure that those holes will be positioned where you want it every time, which means you can drill as many holes as you need without the uncertainty and potential mistakes that can come with measuring and marking everyone. The Cabinet Hardware Jig is designed to be intuitive for beginners to use, but robust enough for professionals. All you need is a drill and a 3/16 in. bit and the ability to set the jig to match your hardware and the position where you want it to go. NOTE: 3/16 in. (5 mm) drill bit required – does not come included.

This jig really speeds installation up. One can remove the backstop if the cabinet handle needs to be more than 5 inches down from the top of the drawer. However, if the Jig is clamped the metal lined drill holes still provide Swift accuracy.

The first issue: HD does not carry this in the stores. That’s a pain! Not all the parts were packaged in the plastic packing. A company CSR shipping the rest of my parts to me. The product works well. HD should carry in store with hardware.

Simple to set up and use. The measurement markings and view ports work well.

I was initially hesitant to buy this tool. I’m glad I splurged on this Kreg jig because it’s so much easier than using a ruler and pen.

It was all I needed to put my handles on my cabinets. Once it was set up, I breezed right through and had all my handles on in less than a half hour.

Once i determined the height of the handle location, it was a breeze. Best product i have bought for installing drawer hardware ever.

This Kreg jig works well on flat cabinets, but if you have recessed cabinet doors I would not recommend using this jig. Get a “T” jig that can hang down further and will provide more solid drilling. The one thing I did like about this Kreg jig is that the drill hole spacing uses notches to lock in place. Other jigs are continuous, which makes it a little more difficult to get the holes precisely spaced. Overall, good product for flat and small cabinet doors and drawers. I think it needs to be priced lower for the value it provides.

I needed to add hardware to an all new kitchen, and this jig made the whole thing a breeze. All we had to do was decide on how far the hardware would be from the corners, then it was just a quick measure and drill for each hole.ran through 12 doors and 6 drawers in no time.

This is a good device and well worth it if installing more than a few handles. Very simple and precise. I was sorry it was limited to a 6″ spread, but i figured out a way to use it for my 7.25″ spacing and it was very helpful. 25 handles and no errors! Just 9 to go.

The jig worked better than expected. We drilled and mounted 54 knobs in 51 cabinet doors and drawers ( in 5 different sizes ) in less than 2 1/2 hours. Without the jig it would have taken days.

As with most Kreg products, this jig has come in so handy for my cabinet making needs.

The Kreg Brand, Cabinet Hardware Jig is a medium quality product to align the installation of cabinet knobs and pulls. The jig is made of light weight plastic and has a somewhat flimsy feel to it. Yet it has sufficient strength to accomplish its intended purpose. Of the features I like in this jig, one is the adjustable stop that allows the positioning on drawers or doors to be accurate and repeatable from drawer-to-drawer and door-to-door. The adjustable plastic drill guides have metal inserts so the drill bit does not wear or damage the plastic and there are notches to hold the drill guides in position once tightened in place. The positive drill guide locating notches are important to keep them from moving around during use. I found the greatest distance this jig will adjust from the drawer or door edge is 5.5-inches. If more adjustment then 5.5-inch is needed, this jig might not work well for you. If purchasing this Kreg jig, I recommend also purchasing the 3/16-inch DeWlat Brand, “Brad Point Drill Bit” DW1704 from Home Depot. That drill bit fits the Kreg drill guides perfectly and the brad point of the bit will start a clean hole in your wood drawer or cabinet door face without tear out or chipping. Also, when using the Kreg jig, it is not absolutely necessary to drill completely though the drawer or door face. It is possible to drill partially into the wood and remove the jig, finishing the blind holes all the way through once the jig is removed. Using this technique, I found it unnecessary to clamp the jig each time it was used, speeding up the process.
