Great projects start with high-quality cuts, and you can make those cuts—more easily than you ever imagined—using your circular saw plus the Rip-Cut™ Circular Saw Edge Guide. The Kreg® Rip-Cut™ turns your circular saw into a precision edge-guided cutting tool that makes straight, accurate, repeatable cuts in plywood, MDF, and other large sheets. With the Rip-Cut™, you can cut w/ the confidence you want and the precision you need. The Rip-Cut™ easily makes straight, accurate, repeatable cuts without measuring, marking, or having to keep the saw on the cut line. The Rip-Cut™ does this with a long edge guide that follows the straight edge of the sheet you are cutting. So, all you have to do is lock the saw in at the measurement you want—up to 24″—using the built-in measuring scale, and then make your cut. With a built-in measuring scale, you don’t have to measure and mark each cut, either. Just lock the saw sled at your desired cut width, and you’re all set, whether you need to cut one piece or make multiple pieces of the exact same size. Plus, the Rip-Cut™ makes it easier to cut down large sheets by yourself and is very easy to use. Simply mount your saw to the universal sled—it accepts most left-blade or right-blade saws—and then slide the sled onto the aluminum rail. After a simple one-time calibration, you can lock in your cut width (up to 24″) using the measuring scale and precision cursor. Then, just hold the edge guide against the edge of your sheet as you guide the saw.

im not a diy person but i took up covid projects and i learned very quickly that all your cuts have to be exact. This tool does that without even measuring and drawing lines. I bought the empire brand version and was dissapointed. Glad i own this and most likly will get the accurate cut from them too

Awesome tool to help guide. I wish it was more sturdy and offered adjustments in width for smaller wood projects. Overall it was a time saver.

I just craft for fun but I’ve done some big projects so this was a supposed to be a game changer as I have a circular saw. The instructions to assemble were confusing to me so I had to watch a YouTube video to assemble. You have to make some test cuts to align the guide to your blade, and because its plastic and only has 2 points to hold it in place, it has some wiggle room which I wasn’t too happy with. Even though I tightened the screws to hold the saw in place it also was moving a bit. Overall I guess its okay for the price but I wish it was all metal instead of plastic.

The guide was easy to assemble and a circular saw was easy to install on the guide base. Use and repeatability of multiple cuts was excellent. The plastic edge guide should have been aluminum.

Just wishit was more durable… I have the perception the plastic is vulnerable. Very useful to guide a rip. I still like it very much and I’ve used it in several situations.

Works well. Wish the plastic was injected and more firm.

Ease of use! Set up was simple

Great device. I would rather the plastic parts were made of something sturdier. I fear it may not hold up. I will be obtaining more Kreg devices.

It works like it is supposed to

While not a substitute for a high end table saw set up, it does a great job of making long rips on large panels.

I would give it six stars if possible. Makes cutting easier and better.

I was cutting multiple edges off rough cut boards for shelves that i was making, cutting 12 x 2 boards, instead of spending a ton of time planing the boards and spending an arm and a leg on a table saw I bought this and had awesome results!

Haven’t used this one yet, but have used someone else’s. It was awesome so we had to buy our own.

I have a budget circular saw and needed to break down plywood sheets. Table saw is not in the budget right now and this helps me make straighter cuts than free hand. Takes some trial and error to get it dialed in for accurate cuts, but not bad once you do. A little flimsy feeling and not the most precise but it’s serving a purpose for me.
