Start projects right by making straight, accurate, splinter-free cuts with your circular saw and the accu-cut circular saw guide track system. It rips, crosscuts and makes angled cuts up to 48 in. long in plywood, MDF and other large panels with super-simple setup, precise accuracy and amazing control. The accu-cut guides your circular saw along an aluminum track that keeps the saw moving in a straight line easily. The accu-cut design makes it simple to set up by just aligning the track with your cut line. No clamps are required to hold the track in place thanks to dual guide strips. They feature an anti-slip coating to prevent slipping and an anti-chip feature to prevent splintered cuts. Plus, the track makes it easy to make straight cuts on sheets that don’t have a straight, flat edge. Circular saws don’t have effective guides that keep them moving straight along a cut line. Plus, it can be difficult to see the blades cutting path. Together, these things make it challenging to keep a saw on your desired cut. Circular saws also often cause splintering of face veneers. The accu-cut solves these problems. The accu-cut is portable, too, so you can take your saw to the work-piece and cut with precision, rather than having to handle heavy sheets on a table saw. The accu-cut is easy and intuitive for a novice to use, but robust enough for professionals.

I bought this because I needed to cut a few inside doors on the long edge. It worked great. I only have 2 complaints: First, the instructions to set everything up are way too confusing. I had to watch a youtube instructional video to figure it out. I think Kreg can do a better job on this. Or at least post their own instructional set up video. The video I watched was great but it was from a do-it-yourselfer like myself. Second, I had trouble matching up the track with the circular saw. I had to bend down and look underneath to see where my misalignment was every time. But once it was all ready to go, it worked great. my cuts were straight and consistent. Great purchase. Now I have to figure out what other projects I can use this on…

Finally a way to make accurate crosscuts with a circular saw! Just place the jig on the line you want to cut. No need to clamp it either! VERY worth the price.

worked great for long Precise cuts. Highly recommend

The unit did stay in place but the saw immediately started cutting into the blue plastic guide line. Now there was no straight line to use. Once I saw how much plastic was used to make it I knew it would break quickly.

Great tool for when you need to make a accurate and straight cut.

Great product, sturdy, on line and minimal slippage! Upper blade guard may be an issue if your guard is plastic. May cause deflection. Check your CC before buying.

I bought this because I did not have a table saw at the time. I must say that this will give you straight 90 degree cuts there is a little play in the track but not enough to mess anything up. I would recommend this if you are not wanting to pony up on the track saw.

It needs to be recalibrated pretty often, and every 5 recalibrations or so you need to buy another set of guide strips for $10. The set screws that hold the metal parts together come loose very easily. That said, it does make track saw quality cuts for a fraction of the price of a track saw.

I have used this on several projects now, as a handyman I need something easy to transport and save time, this tool works great. make clean cuts, speeds up jobs, easy to set on long edge of the roor or adjusting height of the door. I do suggest using painters tape to secure the screws during transport would hat to loose them. the bottom does not move or slide on the wood as you push the saw down the track like I expected. Holds in place well without clamping. The poor reviews I would hold suspect, Are they skilled tradesmen? I do think the set screws should be better quality and allen head(not phillips)I am going to look for an extension or buy another one for longer cuts

This worked really, really well for me. I’m a beginner and this helped me big time. No more bad cuts and wasted wood. My projects are turning out much better now

Went together like it should… no adjustments needed to make sure the track connection joint went together

It doesn’t stay in place very well but it is useful for rip cuts

Pretty easy to set up. I cut a 20 x 63 in piece of mdf (got about 40 in then turned it around and cut the rest from the other side) straight as an arrow. no need to clamp down. Kreg is really the jig master company and this one is definitely one of their best.

Just bought this item after searching a little bit, and I expected more from the price $85While the track itself seems to be solid and straight, the “saw shoe” is made of plastic. This shoe fits loosely on the track leavin a gap of about 2/32″ sacrificing accuracy. You can use some kind of tape to fix this but as I said for the price you should get what you pay. I wish i stayed with my old self made track which was more accurate and just cost me 10 bucks.

This works but not not well. The plastic tray bends slightly leaving a slight angle across the cut. I also wishes the the track had clamps as the guide did slid a couple times on my plywood.Finely decided to just buy a tablesaw. Worked better and was 10x faster.

I was worried at first by the Simplicity of the design. But for the price I figured it was worth the chance. I’m glad I did works as it’s supposed to. There are other accessories that you can get that makes it even more versatile.

I completely love this track. It was really easy to setup and it has made crosscuts a breeze. I couldn’t afford a track saw. This really makes up for it.
