Start projects right by making straight, accurate, splinter-free cuts with your circular saw and the accu-cut circular saw guide track system. It rips, crosscuts and makes angled cuts up to 48 in. long in plywood, MDF and other large panels with super-simple setup, precise accuracy and amazing control. The accu-cut guides your circular saw along an aluminum track that keeps the saw moving in a straight line easily. The accu-cut design makes it simple to set up by just aligning the track with your cut line. No clamps are required to hold the track in place thanks to dual guide strips. They feature an anti-slip coating to prevent slipping and an anti-chip feature to prevent splintered cuts. Plus, the track makes it easy to make straight cuts on sheets that don’t have a straight, flat edge. Circular saws don’t have effective guides that keep them moving straight along a cut line. Plus, it can be difficult to see the blades cutting path. Together, these things make it challenging to keep a saw on your desired cut. Circular saws also often cause splintering of face veneers. The accu-cut solves these problems. The accu-cut is portable, too, so you can take your saw to the work-piece and cut with precision, rather than having to handle heavy sheets on a table saw. The accu-cut is easy and intuitive for a novice to use, but robust enough for professionals.

I purchased this after buying $300 worth of oak plywood and i didn’t want to mess it up cutting down on a table saw. To clarify what others have said, yes there is movement in the track if you move it side-to-side. You have to keep force towards the inside of the track and it will not have that. Sort of like if you were using a fence instead, pressure on the piece you are cutting against the fence. Problem solved. In addition, the aluminum track has a sticky type material on the bottom so it stays put. I was paranoid about it at first and wanted to clamp down the track but as long as you don’t have saw dust under the track (between the work piece you’re cutting) it doesnt move. You can also cut at any angle with this unlike the rip model they make where it follows the edge of your piece. But what if your piece isn’t square! Made in the USA! One other trick i found online, buy a piece of foam insulation and put that under your material so it has support, that way when your blade passes, the foam gets a cut but the piece is still supported. Adjust the depth of your blade so you don’t go all the way thru the foam of course!

Love it but 2 improvements may be in order:1. A cam lock type fastener between track sections could improve accuracy and ease of use.2. Please put a hole in the sled so it can be hung on a pegboard.

I read several reviews, both good and bad. Some of the bad said there is too much play. Must not have it set up correctly. I bought mine to cut down full sheets of plywood before cutting them to size on my table saw. So far I’ve cut down 3 sheets of 1/4, a couple of sheets of 1/2 and about 12 sheets of 3/4 birch for cabinets. All of my cuts have been zero clearance cuts. Quick and easy to set up, no clamps needed other than to hold down 1 side of the sled while squaring up the other side by yourself. Mine is set up on a Skill Saw brand circular saw. I also used it to make a few angled cuts as well. I definitely recommend this product.

I have never been able to cut in a straight line with a power saw. This track made cutting so much easier.. Setup was easy, though I cut a bit more than 1/32 of the blue strip.. As for the play in the sled, blue painters tape, as recommended works great. I just measure and mark several places on board, draw a line on my mark, align the blue strip with the line and make my cut. The only time the cut isn’t accurate is when I don’t measure twice..lol!..

Met my expectations. Great tool!

Did not work as well as I had hoped. I had to clamp one end to keep it from moving at the end of the cut.

The instructions are a little hard to understand but idk if im doing it right but i have it set up and i just slide my dewalt circular saw down and make sure the blade is cut on the marked area. Once its lined up i adjust my blade and cut straight down. Save the battery for sure. Awesome product

Easy to setup and use. For long cuts it’s a nice tool to have if a table saw isn’t available. I secured the far end of the track using specially designed AccuCut clamps sold by Kreg.

We just finished using this and are pleased with the results. We installed a Dewalt corded saw on it and were able to cut a 48″ board at a 2″ depth. We did not experience any wobble at all in the saw guide. We did notice that the track itself could move so we taped it down on the sides with blue tape at the beginning and end of the track and that worked fine. The instructions were not all that great, I felt like I was putting together a piece of Ikea furniture. The manual talks about replacing the guide strips but doesn’t explain how to do it and I’m not really sure why I would replace those, time will tell.Even though this performed as expected we may keep looking at other track options.
