Start projects right by making straight, accurate, splinter-free cuts with your circular saw and the accu-cut circular saw guide track system. It rips, crosscuts and makes angled cuts up to 48 in. long in plywood, MDF and other large panels with super-simple setup, precise accuracy and amazing control. The accu-cut guides your circular saw along an aluminum track that keeps the saw moving in a straight line easily. The accu-cut design makes it simple to set up by just aligning the track with your cut line. No clamps are required to hold the track in place thanks to dual guide strips. They feature an anti-slip coating to prevent slipping and an anti-chip feature to prevent splintered cuts. Plus, the track makes it easy to make straight cuts on sheets that don’t have a straight, flat edge. Circular saws don’t have effective guides that keep them moving straight along a cut line. Plus, it can be difficult to see the blades cutting path. Together, these things make it challenging to keep a saw on your desired cut. Circular saws also often cause splintering of face veneers. The accu-cut solves these problems. The accu-cut is portable, too, so you can take your saw to the work-piece and cut with precision, rather than having to handle heavy sheets on a table saw. The accu-cut is easy and intuitive for a novice to use, but robust enough for professionals.

Regardless of the following improvements I recommend, having the guide is really great for 3-4′ long cuts.Improvements: 1) the connectors for the track have tiny screws to lock the track together. They tend un-thread A LOT, I’m using tape to stem the unravelling, but it won’t last.2) Without a locking mechanism for it, the plastic staging end-cap (where the saw starts the cut) is a source of error because butting it up against the edge can dislodge it easily. Including a set of wing-nuts would help.

I hear a lot of people online complain about this product not working, I can tell you it works exceptionally well. The directions stink though, so watch set up videos online and have them walk you through it, much easier

I don’t have the money for an expensive track saw. Cutting down long pieces is great when working by yourself. This does the trick and bolts easily to my saw. It is dead on with the initial tune up. One dislike is the saw plate is plastic. I foresee this getting broke. So I’m easy on setting it down.

This is an excellent product The only thing I suggest is get an unopened one. Mine was missing some screws but I needed it for the job . Once I got it assembled it was smooth cutting. I needed to cut the bottom of two interior doors. It work perfectly and didn’t scratch the finish on the doors. .

Accu-cut is a great value. I would have liked 8′ instead of 4″ in the kit.

This system has quirks that require practice. My biggest complaint it the tiny t square. You cant use the rail as a square. Without the right technique the rail can shift. There is no real way to clamp it down either without interfering with the sled. I’ll keep practicing … but I was hoping this would be easier to use.

My husband requested this as a gift, he is more than happy to have it. He has other Kreg tools that are used on a regular basis. Easy purchase on -line, very quick delivery. No problems at all. Product is excellent and service was great! Would recommend for any wood worker/ builder.

I absolutely would recommend this product! As an all female crew, we spend lots of time looking for tools that are suited for us, and this one really meets the mark for us. We purchased this for use with our Ryobi cordless saw. We have a table saw that we enjoy using, but our shop is pretty small, and it doesn’t always make sense for us to bust it out for cutting down large sheets of plywood. We did get extensions for this track to make it into an 8′ track overall, perfect for cutting down full sheets of plywood. This was purchased so that we could make easy cuts for the closet shelves we were making. Normally, when using the table saw to cut the 3/4″ plywood, it would take two of us in our space. This allow me to cut the plywood on my own, with just the track, my saw, and our saw horses. It was easy to put together. The instructions were clear on how to use it. All of the cuts came out beautifully. Just can’t say enough how great this product is! Pros:Easy to useEasy to put togetherCan adjust to fit your specific sawCons:If you apply pressure with the saw incorrectly, you could move the track and mess up your cuts. So far we had no trouble with this, so I just imagine it would only be an issue on Monday morning before I have my coffee.

This product performed about as well as I had hoped. It’s an $80 add-on tool, not a $600 track saw, so I wasn’t expecting magic to happen. But I was pleasantly surprised at how well it actually did, and it’s a great tool for someone like me who only needs to cut large panels occasionally. I was able to cut 3/4″ MDF and 1 1/8″ thick oak butcher block with ease and acceptable accuracy. Not much edge splintering either, and that which occurred was barely noticeable. I like how lightweight the sled is, because my Dewalt circular saw is heavy enough on its own. The track gripped the surfaces I tried very well, and I don’t think it ever slipped out of place. I followed the directions exactly and wiped dust from the grip strips before every cut. Initial set up with my saw was pretty easy, too.One of the negatives is that you’re asked to create your zero-clearance line with your saw by shaving 1/32″ off the edge strip after you’ve mounted it to the sled. You’re asked to create a permanent reference line on the track edge strip without having any idea how the saw will perform on the track. The sled has some wobble on the track (not a tight fit), so needless to say the beginning of my zero-clearance line is a little askew. When cutting, I have to adjust the track and guide the saw a particular way each time to account for the inaccuracy. There is also a lip on the underside of the track that is supposed to hold the track against your workpiece and prevent the track from sliding. Great idea, except on my track, the lip is not square to the track edge, so it’s not an accurate 90-degree cut. Glad I made a test cut first to find that out. I have to make sure the lip is held away from the edge of the board, and I make sure to set up the track and recheck with carpenter squares manually. It’s a lot of extra time for each cut.All that being said, I’m still impressed by the results I’m getting, and the negatives can be overcome. I’m not a production builder, so some extra time and effort to make sure each cut is accurate it okay by me. I’m glad I purchased this product and hope it will last for a long time.
