I did like the measuring system and the stops that came with it. I feel the tracks can be engineered so that when you assemble them there is a key way or slide from one track to the next to lock them so they are at the exact same height so the stops will slide with out any hindrance .

the track system was very easy to install. The one problem was the platform I used mdf and plywood very heavy if you make it to handle 8 ft or more one side make it two sections. Live and learn other then that I love it makes all the cuts equal .

I installed it on my new miter saw stand that I build and it works fantastic. I had to cut 2 of the rails to get the proper lengths and they cut very easy and cleanly with my miter saw. I have made several cuts using that production stop and each piece that spot on to the length I needed and I was able to make repeatable cuts with all of them being perfect to each other in length. This is a great addition to my miter saw and it was very easy to set up.

I love to build. And The KREG Precision Track and Stop System is a great addition to any miter saw or sliding miter saw. It really looks simple for the price. And in truth it is. But the setup and ease of use once you have it complete is a time saver and a life saver. The plans for the stands for the track system are included and if you are a KREG user then they are pretty strait forward. If not well they may get a little complicated but you can adapt then to your skill level. What makes this system great is the ease of repeated cuts, every woodworker from beginning to advance knows that whenever you are building something, you very seldom only cut one board one length. It’s almost always the same length multiple times, and this system really takes a lot of the guess work out of it. Because there is nothing worse than building a table for the shop, a bench for the porch, or a bookshelf for the living room and one leg is just a sixteenth an eighth longer or shorter than the others.
