It is as described, a heavy duty stand, but a little costly.

This table base is exactly what I was looking for. I really like the quality of the materials supplied including the nuts and bolts and the paint. I like how the parts fit together and that you can order alternative lengths that fit together like an erector set. I also ordered the optional locking casters. I’ve had them for a couple of weeks and they’re perfect. I usually weld my own, but I’m out of town and needed to set up a shop.

I was looking for a heavy duty shop stand for my just purchased mini milling machine that weighs about 120 lbs and is a little top-heavy. This one by Kreg is excellent and is fairly easy to assemble with only a couple of wrenches. I used a cordless drill with a 1/2 inch socket to loosely tighten the nuts then after making everything square (you need a square) I then tightened the nuts with a cordless impact driver. It wasn’t hard but the help of a second person will make it much easier. I also added the Kreg caster set (PRS 3090) at about $45 from HD which made this stand completely mobile. These casters are excellent, all four swivel and, when locked, neither the wheel turns or the caster itself. You can just use the supplied height-adjustable legs if you want. They are also excellent heavy duty pieces of equipment. It doesn’t come with a top so I just made a heavy duty top with 3/4 inch MDF glued between two 1/4 plywood sheets and finished with three coats of polyurethane. My top ply layer is maple plywood and it looks great. This shop stand by Kreg looks great and after adding the top it just feels solid. The stand even with the optional casters still is rated for 400 lbs. I’m happy with this purchase and everything was bought at Home Depot!

It is sturdy unlike others. The best this is also the same leg sets but different length horizontal bars that can be bought to make small square to large square and the same with rectangle. I am so glad I shopped around before buying.
