This kit is ideal for when the project is already assembled and needs an extra pocket hole or when you need to repair something, such as tighten a chair or table rail to the leg.

whish I had bought one of these years ago, I have always wanted one but never felt the use of it would never justify the price, but was wrong, had a new cabinet project for the wife so I got this one because of the price, now just wish I had spent the extra for the one with the clamp.When I first used it, it had ejected a lot of blue plastic, thought to myself great something went wrong and it was broke. when I inspected it and found no damage. this means I could only come to the conclusion that the slag from the manufacturing process was not removed after the manufacturing of it, either by default or non-inspection of product, either way I highly recommend it.

I have used this for six woodworking projects now and am considering purchasing an upgraded version. This mini one can be used for all applications, it just takes a little bit longer to setup. I usually use a quick grip clamp and hand pressure to hold it in place before drilling.
