Description

This rugged MDF table top provides a solid, secure and quiet routing solution for any workshop. A 1 in. thick MDF core provides a flat, solid top that absorbs vibrations. While steel reinforcing struts prevent sagging even under the weight of heavy routers and lifts.

Durable, high-pressure laminate skin offers a low-friction easy-slide surface, making it easy to slide workpieces across the surface; thick edge banding protects the top against bumps and abrasions, the top is predrilled for holes for precision insert-plate levelers
A heavy-duty 3/8 in. x 91/4 in. x 113/4 in. insert plate handles large routers with ease, versatile level-loc reducing rings lock in level and flush with the plate surface with the included ring wrench, a brass starter pin ensures controlled bit contact during freehand routing
Laser-engraved target pattern on the underside of the plate ensures simple, accurate router centering and mounting, 4 included precision insert plate levelers keep plate and table top surfaces perfectly flush
Versatile table top works with standard (3/8 in. x 3/4 in. bar) miter gauge guide bars, it also accepts feather boards and other accessories and is made from durable anodized aluminum

It was a bit of a learning curve on getting a router mounted to the router table top. I have noticed I had to drill a recess hole in order to keep the bolts below or flush with the surface of the router table. I do like how the markings were already set up for me to install my Triton TRA-001. That made things a little easier….although, I didnt trust them to start with just in case, I lined up my router base with the markings and sure enough, they were spot on! Anyone looking to see how to install and learn from me and my mistakes, watch the video of my install of my Triton TRA-001. Everything went together perfectly! The metal braces underneath provide excellent support……no sagging. The phenolic insert plate also very sturdy with no sag, and the pre-set markers to drill were spot on for my Bosch router! I know we always expect everything to be just right, but how often does that actually happen? Thanks Kreg!

I wanted to replace my shop made table top because I needed a bigger work surface for some upcoming projects. This table is the perfect size and flat. The router lift plate fit perfect. No gap at all. The levelers make it level with the table. Steel supports will keep level for a long time.
