The router table went together very easy and was fairly easy to get set up. It has a bigger work area that will work better for wider pcs.

easy to assemble; didn’t take long. was not aware that only two inserts come with the table. eventually ordered the set after i was sure i wanted to keep it. drilling the holes for my router was not too bad; you have to take your time. i have adjusted the plate several times now and think i have it where i want it. not hard just a little time consuming. very steady without using any clamps to hold it down. very roomy underneath. the quarter-turn cam knobs on the fence are great. will just barely handle my freud 3-3/8 inch flat panel bit if you get the router centered correctly. the chip deflector is useful if there are no other items mounted on the fence. but with fingerboards attached, there is no easy way to get the deflector out of the way. so i am making a jig to attach the deflector to the top track that just drops down onto studs so I can quickly remove it. also changed the screws on the fence to t bolts; had to use a philips head screwdriver otherwise in order to open up the fence.

Table is very well constructed. It was easy to assemble. Surprisingly the template for mounting the Router had the necessary holes pre-marked for my Ridgid router which I did not know prior to purchasing the table. I did have to make a slight adjustment to one of the holes to make my router fit though. I purchased some Kreg featherboards and the power supply to go with it to make it a complete package. I will likely build a small portable table to set this on for ease of use.

Putting this table together was a breeze. It is well built and very sturdy. I put a Triton Router on the table and even though it’s heavy the table was able to handle it. Working with the router table is a pleaser-no vibration to mess up the cut. The fence was easy to work with. Even though I really like this table, If I was going to do it again, I would buy the upright floor table. The fence on the floor seems better. It has more to it. Either way this table is very sturdy and fun to use. I would recommend this table to anyone who has a router. It’s easier and safer than free hand. Kreg puts out great tools.

Everything went well with putting it together except the leveling of the insert. The insert requires putting holes into the plate and then countersinking the holes in a plastic material that is easily chipped. Unless you are a pro with all the tools it is more difficult to get it right. The unit itself is very well thought out and designed well. If you are a beginner I would suggest you seek some help to put this plate together so you wont ruin it. Having said that this is a great router table and well worth the money after it is set up well.

Getting the table together and set up is a little more daunting than necessary. Drilling the holes to match your router using the instructions and even watching a video is a pain in the rear, even using a drill press. Routers use such small screws that if your holes are off by even 1/32 then you’re going to have problems. That’s why I’m taking one star away. Kreg should develop a better system for this. That said, after many curse words and modification, this is a great router table. The surface is a pleasure to work with and the fence is perfect. The rubber feet stick it to wherever you put it, even in a saw-dusty environment. I would buy it again if I had to.

Not my first router table, I am pretty sure that this will be my last. It is very well-built and very well-designed. I purchased it with a switch and set of featherboards and could not be happier. It is flat and very accurate. I also own a Kreg K5 pocket hole jig and I am beginning to see a pattern emerge: Kreg Products are OUTSTANDING.

This is a great router table for a beginner. I like how easy it was to get setup and it did basically everything I needed. If I could go back, I would have saved up a few more dollars and bought something different though, but for the price, this is probably the best bench top router table. I like an enclosed router table better, for dust collection purposes, and there are several out there that are bench top as well. I think the actual router table top is great, and the Kreg plate that comes with is also fantastic. I ended up builing my own floor standing router table and I reused the top and fence from this setup. My biggest complaint with a benchtop system is that when you set it on top of a bench, it is too high for me to comfortably use, and I am 6’2″. It is a very sturdy router table, and the components are worth the cost, I just wish it was enclosed. Again, a great starting point if you are just getting into the hobby, or you do not use a router table often enough to justify a full floor standing unit.

Great entry level table. And awesome in my small shop. Building a small cabinet or box @20 inch height will put this table at 36 inches.. the perfect working height. Get the switch and feather boards and youre ready to rock. I mounted a porta cable router underneath. Took about an hour to assemble and drill the holes in the baseplate.

After looking for some time at portable router tables I ordered the Kreg. I looked at many tables in person but from the description and reviews I bought the Kreg sight unseen. It should not be compared with a home built shop table but for my purposes of traveling to other project sites it is working very well. Good stable table that is easily adjusted and I have made some portable extensions for longer pieces. I can’t imagine wearing this table out or wanting to replace it.

I ordered this so that I could do a better job in the limited space I have in my garage. I arrived and I started to put it together per the instructions (I rarely do this part). The directions were spot on. It told you every step to do and what in what order. One hour later I was looking at a finished table. I wanted the pre-drilled plate but it was out of stock, so I gritted my teeth and drilled the blank on. Very easy to do, just wear a mask, the fumes of drilling are strong. Routed my first piece this morning and I could not be happier. This table and my Bosch 1617EVS are a great combination.

High quality tool – easy to assemble. You have to drill through the mounting plate to attach your router to the table (of courses). Luckily, Kreg includes markings for my router (Makita RF1101) and several other brands. I added the optional power-switch for powering on the router and vacuum simultaneously. I think it was $30 and worth every cent.

The product is exactly as described…well made and sturdy. I suggest a little more effort be put in the assembly instructions but overall they’re relatively thorough. Drilling the router insert plate to fit your brand of router is straight forward..take your time and you’ll be fine. When you’re done assembly you’ll have a dependable table to use for years to come.

For the money, this is a great value. It is well designed, made of quality parts. It was easy to put together. You will need a good countersink to recess the holes for the screw to hold router to the baseplate. One small little thing that gives you an idea of thought that went into the design, the dust collection port takes a standard 2″ shop vac hose with no special attachments.
