The True-FLEX Featherboard gets its name from the careful engineering that went into its design. Many Featherboards on the market today apply too much pressure or not enough pressure to the work piece, which results in imperfect cuts and less than safe operation. The True-FLEX Featherboard provides a consistent and optimum pressure and will stand up to years of heavy use in your woodshop. The Featherboard is made from an extremely durable plastic composite body and includes a Wedge-Lock System that allows the Featherboard to be secured to a variety of shop tools without the need for additional hardware. Whether you’re using a miter-slot or a T-slot, working on a table saw or a router table, the Wedge-Lock System adjusts accordingly and lets you work with confidence. Designed for use in standard 3/8 in. x 3/4 in. miter slot.

Good product but I wish it had a washer like base so it can fit into the t-miter slot on my table saw. The friction lockdown sometimes moves on me. I guess I have to find a couple of washers to retro fit it.

I bought this Kreg fetherboard a few years ago & I works fine for smaller cuts, but I really needed something that would hold larger pieces of wood towards the fence and that didn’t limit me to the width of the miter slot to the blade like this Kreg unit does. I ended up getting the Magswitch Workholding System, HD sells several different models, I got the Woodworking Starter Kit as well as a few accessories. It’s FANTASTIC when cutting large 4×8 sheets as it keeps the sheet from pulling away from the fence as you feed it. It’s a little pricy at almost $70, but WELL worth it as it can be used on other tools like the jointer & band saw (with attachments) for resewing & also on router table as a hold down with clamps. The magnets really hold big time! It’s a pleasure to use, just place it anywhere on the metal table and turn the 2 knobs a 1/2 turn and the very powerful magnets engage. When you’re done just turn the knobs counter clockwise 1/2 a turn and the magnets disengage, it’s really that easy.
