Easy to use, good directions and precise. If you never heard of wood working it might be less obvious, but I think it is a good product. it is. I used it to make a screen door. If you are not going to use it more often then once every year or so, it is all you need. do get some more screws for your particular project.

The Kreg Jig is slick, easy; but also accurate and reliable. I only found one drawback. I found no instructions or guidance as to what to do concerning drilling pocket holes in thick pieces such as 2 by fours. I set the jig to the correct thickness and found that the resulting drilled hole does not extend all the way to the mating face of the 2 by 4. Am I supposed to drill a supplemental hole to make it a thru hole, or am I to simple force the self tapping screw through the wood. I have no idea—Kreger didn’t think I should be provided with the answer or they would have included it in the instructions. The jig is splendid other than that.

Bought this jig to conceal the screws for the face frames of the cabinets I built. This jig worked great. Using the clamp, you can attach it securely to the jig without having to constantly reposition it. The adjustments were somewhat a pain due to having to lift up the hard plastic piece that secures it. Other than that, this is a pretty handy tool.

Perfect for the guy just starting out with woodworking. Easy to use and does a perfect job. Looks like it’s just cheap plastic but it’s not. Very well made and very durable.

Great pocket hole jig. The adjustable drill bit is nice to get the proper depth. I suggest buying the larger assorted screws because they are cheaper than buying them individuallly.

Easy to use with one exception. Clips on side of depth arms are too tight. I broke one side since I had to force it on second use.

I’ve used it to build shelving for my utility trailer. About 500 pocket screws later I have a very sturdy shelving unit. The kreg jig and pocket system works great!

We have a pub height table I wanted to get to get two benches for, but the ones I liked were way out of my budget. I found a step by step guide that used a kreg jig, and was nervous to try it. Thankfully it was self explanatory and hid the screws beautifully. I have some gorgeous farmhouse benches for my table, made even more so by the fact that you can’t see the screws! I do wish that the kreg clamp came with this as it is necessary, another clamp won’t hold the jig in place. I had to go back the get the kreg clamp
