The UltrAtomic wall clock features the most accurate atomic movement on the market. Like a traditional atomic clock, this clock automatically sets itself and updates for Daylight saving time. However, this clock is equipped with 2 antennas that allow it to work in the nosiest, hostile electronic environments such as busy office buildings, hospitals or other institutions. Dual Antennas=Enhanced Reception UltrAtomic clocks feature 2 antennas, whereas traditional atomic clocks only feature 1. The extra antenna increases the WWVB signal reliability and penetration. Extra Battery Compartment -To keep your UltrAtomic clock running longer, the movement features 2 additional battery compartments that allow you to add extra batteries (optional). This keeps the clock running for approximately 4 to 7-years before you need to replace the batteries. Eco-Mode is a battery saving feature that stops the second hand at 12:00 between the hours of 11:00 PM – 5:00 AM.

Nice easy to read clock, did fine with initial atomic communication link. We had the cheaper version of this LaCrosse clock that failed to communicate after 2 years. Hoping this one may last longer. These initial reviews don’t really help prospective buyers very much. There are not a lot of competing products out there in this price range. I’ve had other LaCrosse products such as weather stations that tend to work for about 2 years.

Good looking clock. Easy setup. Smart feature of letting “Second” arm rest between 11pm to 5am to save battery. Love the large battery capacity. 2 or 4 C size battery.

The clock is larger than I wanted, but I’m getting used to it. I like the simple black/white face and silver metallic trim. The hands set themselves within 15 minutes. Takes “C” batteries – either 2 OR 4. Four batteries should last 6 years before replacement.

This clock is what I have been looking to find. I like the 14″ white face With the 1″ digits, and large hands, that I may view from a distance. I prefer to have battery devices, in order to back up the electric devices. I prefer the atomic clock time setting and readjusting for accurate timekeeping.

We’ve tried other clocks with the automatic setting feature which did not work in our office building, and this one did not either. The clear front has some glare, reflection on it as well. I wonder if there are clocks with glare free glass, as with picture glass? Otherwise manual settings worked well, and quality looks good. I would recommend if the automatic signal had worked, but consider that could be our location or building construction. If you had these types work before, this one may be fine.
