Introducing a NEW vivid LED dual alarm clock featuring a charging port for you smartphone or MP3 player. With many adjustable settings, you can set it to how you like it. Self setting time using WWVB radio frequency, your clock will be the most accurate and will automatically switch to/from Daylight savings time. Indicates active alarms (A1/A2), DST, and your clock’s WWVB signal strength. Adjust brightness settings & snooze duration up to 60 minutes. Includes power backup battery and AC adapter. Large blue LED digits you can see from across the room.

Nice design and fit where it needed to, but two drawbacks. The atomic time never worked (I’m on the outskirts of a city so it should have) and the display could have been a little brighter. What would have been a nice touch is an adjustable brightness for the display. I have not used it as an alarm clock as don’t need this.

My only complaint is it is way to bright at night. Lights up the whole room when I sleep. Should have a low dimmer switch on it but doesn`t! Otherwise, good product.

I use this clock on my fireplace mantel, in my video/TV room. I wanted a clock that had lighted numerals or a lighted face, in order to be able to see what time it is (in the dark). No battery-operated clocks provide constant-on dial faces or numerals. No wall clocks have lighted numerals or faces. There are clocks that supposedly absorb light and emit light from luminous paint. But, these routinely get terrible reviews. For those clocks, the emitted light lasts only a brief time, and the paint only absorbs light when exposed to very bright light — not likely available in basements, etc.So, the La Crosse clock gives a large bright read-out at all times. Not distracting at all in my TV room. The clock acquired the atomic time signal flawlessly (I was surprised), and even changed to the correct time when Daylight Savings Time ended. I have not used the alarm function, but all the controls are located on top. This is a very modern-looking, handsome clock for general purpose use. Simple, clean lines, curved face.

Love this clock! It does the job it is supposed to do (for me) by providing the correct time in a large enough format that I can read it from across the room without my contacts/glasses. Initial set up requires a wait time of 7 mins before buttons will work. Doubles as a night light! 🙂

The bold and clear 1.8″ digits in a slim curved case makes this a perfect fit to my bedroom or living room. It has Hi-Lo-Off brightness of display which is good for me to use in different time of the day. For the atomic time signal reception, I learned that the clock needs to be placed around 3 feet away from the adaptor (I was told that the adaptor generates interference which affects signal reception) and it works well from then. Wish La Crosse could keep developing functional products with good designs!

Always on time! Once it finds the atomic signal, you NEVER have to set it again. The “dim” feature is VERY welcome if used as an alarm clock… no need for bright numbers in a dark bedroom.As a TV time minder, it’s best on dim as well so it never distracts….

I really like the look of the clock and the size makes it easy to read. The thing that doesn’t work well is getting a signal for atomic time. It will only get a signal if I put it next to a window which is not where I want to place it.

Be aware that the display is quite bright, even on the dimmer setting. During daytime, digital display is a little fuzzy, like you are nearsighted.

I ordered two of these clocks at the same time. The display is large and easy to read. One of the two clocks I received had a defective power cord with too-short a plug (that goes into the back of the clock) – bad quality control. I tried to use an alternative transformer and wound up using the wrong kind with too much voltage, thus burning out the clock. The other one works fine and had the proper size of transformer plug. I originally hoped I could read UTC time with this clock but it only allows USA time zones. I gave it to my senior citizen father since it auto-sets and is easy to use.
