This plastic-framed wall clock measures 14 in. in Dia and looks most at home hanging in an office or business setting. However, this clock’s claim to fame is its precision time-keeping and the fact that it never needs to be set. The clock has a built-in antenna system that receives signals from the WWVB radio transmitter in Fort Collins, Colorado, which is in turn is regulated by the atomic clock. Once you install the battery and choose one of four U. S. time zones, the clock automatically sets to the accurate time in hours, minutes, and seconds, and continues to adjust itself 9 times daily. This low-maintenance clock even automatically adjusts for daylight savings time, so you never need to remember to spring ahead or fall backward. This radio-controlled clock is covered by a 1-year warranty, AA alkaline batteries (not included).

Clock is easy to read, does not make any ticking sound at all, and is actually unexpectedly attractive on the wall where we put it in our living area to be the most functional and visible. Poor Fit and Finish for Made in China Product. There are better looking products from China at far less price.Atomic part initially did not work but I think it is tagging along since. Do not see Quality to go with name of La Crosse and Equity as it used to be a decade ago.

Set DST switch to on and set time zone switch. Installed 3 AA batteries supposedly to last for 3 years. Clock correctly sets itself. No tick tick sound. Hope don’t have to touch clock for 3 years as DST sets itself. Will see.

Obviously, the accuracy is perfect – which is what we wanted. No more bickering about the correct time on everyone’s watch, phone, etc. Simple design and a nice size that can be seen from across a large room. Automatically changes itself for daylight savings time, and 3 AA batteries are supposed to keep it running for 3 years. So only you need to get a ladder once every 3 years to change the batteries. Only negative is that the minute marks could be darker or heavier. Would definitely recommend for offices, schools, home – anyplace where you want accurate time or want to set it and forget it.
