I replaced a cheap on I got years ago with this dehydrator. The reviews across the web were good, so far I used it once and I was very impressed.It dehydrated beef lung and heart in less then half the time my old one did. It fits a lot of stuff, I put in 8#s of meat. I am hoping it will last a long time, fingers crossed.

I use it regularly. I love making jerky and adding to my stash of home grown herbs, but it’s little things like using up bread or buns before they go stale…bread crumbs or croutons in a few hours.. I wouldn’t be without this appliance.

Great value, I also have the five tray version of this Dehydrator and it has never let me down. Everything doesn’t always get done at the same time but no big deal, just rearrange and take items off as they get done. Easy to clean the plastic trays and so far they are holding up. I dry jerky and many vegetables and fruits.

I am impressed with the LEM Mighty Bite 10-Tray Food Dehydrator is built sturdy and the trays fit nicely in the cabinet, I like the square shape of the trays that make rotating and moving them up or down easy. This is the quietest dehydrator I have ever owned; it heats up quickly and has strong airflow throughout the cabinet. Some of the other features I like are the 15 sq. ft. of drying area, a large digital display timer that turns off the unit when done so you do not have to worry about over drying your stuff, just set it and forget it. Cant wait to use it for more things.

Could be a five star dehydrator with a couple of improvements. This food dehydrator has a large capacity for food to be dehydrated and with 800 watts of power and has good airflow disbursement that has evenly dried all large items in all the trays. The product’s downfall is two-fold. The first major disappointment is the drying trays. Although they are nice in size and square in shape so they will fit into the dehydrator using any of the four sides, the 1/2 inch opening in the grid is way too wide to hold small sized vegetable or fruit without falling through (see photo). This strictly limits their use for only the largest of slices. The second downfall is the front two piece door. These are not hinged so they can be opened while remaining attached to the dehydrator, but require being “forcefully” removed each time you want to access the trays. Since they are plastic, this removal process is begging for broken doors down the road.Drastically reduce the grid size and make the doors truly hinged for easy access, and this would be a 5 star product.
