This would be a 5 if it came with silicone mesh trays. We dry raw nuts and the smaller pieces fall through the trays.

I love this dehydrator. I dehydrate apples and persimmons mostly. I can dehydrate 10 pounds of apples at one time. It’s well made and easy to clean up. My only complaint, is the front plastic covers could be better designed. A simple clear detachable swing door would be better. Great price!

Excellent! The LEM Might Bite has it all! I bought it 3 weeks ago, and have used it constantly ever since. I like the size and number of trays with plenty of room to spread out grains. The unit is very quiet and efficient, and remains cool for long periods, yet maintains an even temperature with no “hot spots”. I dehydrate whole grains after the sprouting process, and LEM Mighty Bite really makes it easy to prepare large amounts of grains at once, saving me a lot of time. As the summer approaches, I will not have any worries about quality control (ie, humidity) because the Mighty Bite dehydrates so well. The only possible drawback is that I sometimes have trouble getting the doors to fit right, but I always manage in the end. Overall, the LEM Mighty Bite meets my expectations in every way.
