This jerky gun is easy to assemble, easy to clean, easy to use, very durable and holds 1.5lbs of meat. It even comes w/2 packs of seasoning and cure salt to get started. Within a few weeks of my purchase, I made jerky out of 6lbs of ground venison in a food dehydrator and it turned out great.

It works very good but you have to use very lean ground meat, if you don’t you will have fat dripping off your meat and make a mess in your dehydrator. Patting your meat with a paper towel after you squeeze the meat on the tray will help a little, and do it again when the meat is done dehydrating. Clean up is not too bad, you need to soak the whole assembly in warm soapy water then clean. It comes with a brush to clean the tube out. I got to say that I prefer to cut my meat with a slicer, not ground.
