I have 3 Dehydrators. Excalibur is my worst one. It is so noisy that you can hear it running in an adjacent room with doors closed. In addition, it is made of plastic and all shelves have sagged under load over time. I really wasted about $250 on it about 8 years ago. Then, I have a Breville oven that has dehydrator function. I have had it for 1 year. I love my Breville dehydrator. It was money well spent. Super quiet, great 72 hour timer, 4 chrome-plated baskets (purchased separately). I purchased this Lem dehydrator about a month ago and it has been running non stop. I am very pleased with its stainless steel build quality, manual controls that can be easily replaced down the road with spare parts, super quiet motor, and the always-on function which none of my other 2 dehydrators have. Mine came with chrome-pated shelves and this is the only drawback. I plan on purchasing stainless steel shelves for it from the manufacturer down the road. Overall, comparing Lem with my other 2 dehydrators, Lem is a good one, just like my Breviile and my money was well spent purchasing it.My two great Lem and Breville dehydrators are in the picture below.

Does and absolutely outstanding job. When you buy a dehydrator do not buy one with plastic on it any little mistake can hurt it. You can take these racks out after use and put them in the dishwasher. Love it and is easy to store. With handles on top makes it very easy to cary even when hot and very light.

The only issue I have with this product is that it didn’t come with a drip tray. Ridiculous!!!! That’s like selling a frigerator without any doors.
