I picked up one of these locally (mainly to help reduce the overload on BH shipping that I have already dealt with twice this year) and here are the thoughts: – The keyboard, which in photos look like the legendary and timeless IBM keyboard which I love on the T460s for now 3 years, is NOT the same. (Now if you don’t know what this means or don’t care, move on to another laptop.) the keystrokes are nice, about as good as my Zbook but fall really short of the T460s. – This comes with Windows 10 PRO, which has its benefits if you can make use of them, is the cheapest unit with PRO and 10th gen Intel cpu. – The 10th gen CPU is actually the previous 14nm CPU and not the latest 10nm 10th gen, so there is that. I havn’t used it long enough to verify if cooling is done right but if it isn’t you should get a 1035G1 based machine. – A wee bit of Lenovo-ware is pre-installed. Now the initial Windows is quite clean of extras but Lenovo being a PRC-based company I don’t know if I feel the same way about those as I do about HP-ware that came pre-installed on my Zbook. Sure you can remove some stuff but will most people? – Final thoughts it’s a reasonably well built machine at an okay price, but without the quality keyboard it mimickers the look of, the E15 lacks competitive edge on pricing or hardware.

That’s what they used to say about IBM. Well these guys are good quality laptops at a very reasonable price! Purchased four for an office upgrade.

I have used Lenovo ThinkPad laptops in the past and they have all served me well. I received excellent guidance from the B&H representative while trying to decide on the CPU, memory and hard drive. I expect this PC to fit my needs for the foreseeable future.

This is not the T series that I am use too but I have been implementing more and more Lenovo’s into our company. They are great machines and do not come with a lot of bloatware compared to HP and Dells.

Quick and powerful machine. Convenient layout, sufficient amount of ports. Good screen but prefer using larger monitor at home using HDMI connector. Good value.
