Take a second screen with you as you travel with the ThinkVision M14 14" 16:9 Portable IPS/LCD Monitor from Lenovo. For the professional who needs a second monitor that doesn’t take up too much space, all you need is a laptop or smartphone with a USB Type-C connection that supports DisplayPort 1.2 alt-mode and Power Delivery 2.0. Draft documents on your laptop with this monitor as your reference point, or use it for media while you write.
This secondary display gives you a crisp 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 60 Hz refresh rate and a 6 ms response time for a smooth visual experience. This In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel gives you a 178/178° viewing angle, 16.7 million colors, a 700:1 contrast ratio, and a 300 cm/d² brightness level for deep colorization and vivid imagery.

I love this monitor just wish it had a camera but besides that it’s perfect! Since we’ve been working from home I’ve recommend it to several of my coworkers.

The M14 compliments my X1-g3 tablet perfectly. I now have a mobile dual display office and all with just one USB-C connection. It was plug and play from the beginning!

Great monitor, thin, lightweight, super clarity and brightness, and a very stable flip out deskstand

Great price on a light weight and easy to use portable monitor. Basically a “plug and play” piece of equipment, no timely set up. Quality is great and having the extra screen space when working in a laptop boosts productivity.

I purchased the Lenovo M14 monitor to use with my Lenovo X1 Carbon 7th gen laptop. I am new to multiple monitor setups, but decided the extra screen space might be worth it, and I am pleased to report I am very happy with my decision. It is most useful during times I am writing and use the extra space to display source materials while I type. I have noticed increased productivity with emails especially. The screen resolution and physical size is the same as the laptop at 14inches and 1920×1080, and the display stand allows the screens to match up next to each other very well. The kick stand under the base allows my mouse cable to pass under the corner of the screen comfortably. The base and hinge are reassuringly solid and stable. The pass through USB-C power works perfectly with the laptop which uses the same. The USB-C cable connection is reported to be much faster and more stable than wireless, and I have had no issues with videos or casual games. It worked perfectly right out of the box with no installation, just plug in and use. The screen scaling was different from the laptop at first, but was very easily changed in windows settings along with adjusting the screen position relative to the laptop monitor. The screen brightness of the monitor is listed at 300 nits, while the laptop is more, but for practical purposes the laptop screen is only 1 or 2 brightness notches brighter. This is just fine for me. The M14 comes with a cloth sleeve, with the outside made with something similar to felt, and the inside lined with a soft cloth. This sleeve covers the screen completely, and I was able to use it inside my existing laptop case as a protection from scratches. The bezel is large enough to allow you to pick it up without having to touch the screen with your fingers. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this monitor to anyone considering one.

This device is the consummate device for your mobile user. It’s slim, light and easy to fit into any of my bags alongside a tablet and standard laptop PC. Biggest feature for my needs is the power throughput. Great innovation!

Good colors, looks fairly accurate – no calibration necessary for most users, bright enough, Power Delivery passthrough, 100mm Vesa mount holes in a nicely designed chassis. I have 3 of these and they have exceeded my expectations.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Love this screen so much. The only wish I never knew I had was for it to be a touch screen.

Perfect companion to Lenovo laptops! Couldn’t be more pleased.

It’s very thin and portable. The only challenge I encountered was connecting it to certain devices that aren’t USB-C compatible. There seemed to be an issue with the adapters. Screen resolution is good.

Perfect for traveling (light weight compact) and the price is right. However, it does not replace the quality of a large stand alone monitor.

As a city dweller, I searched for a 14 inch monitor that would fit ony desk and provide flexibility to manage multiple windows, docs and zoom while being kind to my failing eyesight. This is a great compact solution. In a perfect world it would be a touch screen like my yoga but I wouldn’t sacrifice the size or add extra cables, so this works nicely. I honestly don’t need a portable screen, just a tidy fit in a tight space.
