This is perfect for when I travel often for business. Catching up in the hotel used to be tedious, but the portable monitor connects easily as an extended display. Very light weight, fits perfectly into my travel bag, a huge improvement in productivity!

Great portable monitor, a 15′ monitor would be good

Awesome travel monitor (so light), bright and easy to operate. It also a little kickstand to have it as the same high as my thinkbook screen. Also found out that you can plug power into one of the screen’s usb and it’ll charge the laptop (this is dependent on the cable used to connect to the laptop, my thunderbolt cable works but a regular alt-DP usb C will not) Used apps to extend screen to tablet in the past and this is much much easier to manage.

Great size, easily to pack and transport, the protective sleeve is super nice too! It was a great product and I was super excited to get it, but it didn’t work with my laptop. It wasn’t a fault of the product, just my laptop. I’ll do better research next time!

I got the M14 because I was doing a lot of traveling and needed to be able to video conference while reviewing documents, and my 13 Macbook Pro display wasn’t cutting it. The ThinkVision M14 worked as advertised, but there are a few caveats you might want to keep in mind, especially if you are used to Retina displays on Macs/iPads/iPhones, or full sized (I have a HP Z27 27 4K, a Dell 27 4K, and a Dell 25 QHD display). All and all, I would not recommend the display and regret my purchase. The cons of the product are most salient to me: 1. The text, even running at the native resolution (1080p) appears somewhat jagged and hard to read. 2. Like many modern displays, the native resolution is quite high for the display (the M14 is around 150ppi, vs my other monitors which around pretty close, around 160ppi). On my other displays, UI elements are scaled to be appropriately legible, but on the M14, everything appears to be tiny. When I go to the Display settings on my macbook or external displays, there is an option to change the scaling – and select between various options from Larger text to More space in case I don’t like the default scaling. On the M14, however, one can only select the resolution. Selecting lower resolutions are large enough to read without sticking your head 6 from the monitor, but it makes everything more blurry (but still inexplicably jagged). 3. The M14 is advertised as being 300 nits, but it appears to be substantially darker than my other displays (my external displays are 350 nits, while the Macbook is 400 nits, and iPads/iPhones are even higher). I am not sure if there is something wrong with the M14 I have or if it’s just that the 50 nits make a big difference, but it is quite noticeable in well-lit environments and makes it all the more difficult to read. 4. The display itself is incredibly thin, and has a recessed plastic display that seems like it could get damaged easily. The stand folds back, making the device somewhat uneven when stored. The M14 comes with a very minimal soft pocket for transporting it, but I worry about bending the device or breaking the display when packing it into a well-stuffed luggage. I’ve never felt this way about any notebook I’ve owned. 5. There are USB-C connections on both sides, which is great, but the unused connection can’t be used to chain peripherals, which can be annoying given that Macbooks have such few USB-C ports. On the pros: 1. The display is incredibly light. 2. It was easy to setup. 3. The adjustable angle sets the display in a very firm way, with much less wiggling relative to many laptop displays. 4. Relative to many other displays, the Lenovo product is pretty well priced and is made by a company I’ve heard of.

i liked it but i felt the price to be a bit high. Laos, make the base/stand a bit more rigid.
