(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was excited to try this monitor after reading some reviews. I was very pleased with the picture quality and brightness. Some of the reviews I read had mentioned that it wasn’t especially bright if not plugged directly into power. I was drawing power through my laptop usb C connection. I found it plenty bright, and in fact it looked a bit nicer than the actual Thinkpad display. Overall, I was very pleased with it.

I really like this portable monitor, it’s especially great to use while traveling as well as moving around from space to space within the home. It folds up really thin and is easy to pack. Great screen quality. Definitely recommend.

Great portability and display quality. Aesthetically, looks seamless alongside my carbon laptop. Great that it has ports on both sides and a built in stand. I don’t have any use for portrait orientation, so no issue there. I tried another brand of portable monitor that was larger and also fantastic but ultimately chose this one for the portability and the stand.

Fantastic display. I got it to go with my new Legion5 Lenovo laptop for CAD. Super portable. The only thing I didn’t like is it only has a usbC display port so I can’t use it with an older product easily. The case it comes with is nice, but I wonder about how easily the screen will break. Hopefully never at this price.

I am liking it so far Lenovo–thanks for asking. I pair it with my Legion 7i so the 300nit m14 is looking a little dim compared to the 500nit beast-mode flows. But outside of that, what a great lightweight companion that keeps you portable without losing productivity in any environment at all times. Further, when I have the Legion unplugged, I am getting 3 hours with the m14 attached. I really feel this portable combination of Legion 7i and m14 is just the best and I guess that’s it.

I purchased both the M14 and the M14t just to have an additional monitor available, but also to compare the two items. Between the two, I prefer the sharpness of the M14t, but from a price point perspective, the M14 is not a bad choice either because a portable monitor is an excellent resource to have. The storage case is nice and protective and the slim profile allows me to use it between two devices, with a simple plug and play switch.

Monitor is light, small and easy to move around. It is a power hog. It will drain your laptop battery fast like i would estimate half your laptop x1 battery. It should jave its own battery, rememner to get power bank to charge if you are away. Quality of screen is great. Power cord type c goes to monitor to charge laptop which is innovative idea.

It’s going to sound silly, but before you order, make sure you know this comes with a USB-C cable. I bought it for my work laptop to work remotely, and sadly couldn’t use it for that purpose. But it does work with my MacBook Air, so I opted to keep it. The monitor is paper thin and light; very portable.

Works great with both my work and personal laptops. Took a couple tries to find the right cables to connect to a mini DisplayPort on my old t460p, but it’s working without issue. This is actually lighter an easier to transport than my iPad I was using before. I travel frequently and this offers fills the need for more screen real estate with lout being so large to be a burden.
