Take a second screen with you as you travel with the ThinkVision M14 14" 16:9 Portable IPS/LCD Monitor from Lenovo. For the professional who needs a second monitor that doesn’t take up too much space, all you need is a laptop or smartphone with a USB Type-C connection that supports DisplayPort 1.2 alt-mode and Power Delivery 2.0. Draft documents on your laptop with this monitor as your reference point, or use it for media while you write.
This secondary display gives you a crisp 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 60 Hz refresh rate and a 6 ms response time for a smooth visual experience. This In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel gives you a 178/178° viewing angle, 16.7 million colors, a 700:1 contrast ratio, and a 300 cm/d² brightness level for deep colorization and vivid imagery.

Excellent picture quality. Size is just right. The USB type C charging is seamless with multiple adapters. Even works with my Android and docking station

Incredibly easy to use. Image quality is fantastic. There are some very thoughtful design and engineering decisions that went into creating this. For example, there are USB C ports on both sides of the monitor that allow the user to use a shorter cable but still place the monitor where they want thus eliminating cable clutter. Also there is a small, secondary kickstand built into the bottom of the unit that allows it to be raised slightly so as to match the height of most laptops. This is a must buy for anyone that needs a second screen but has limited desk real estate.

The monitor itself is amazing – compact, crisp, and VERY easy to use and connect. 1 star off as I simply do not understand why a hard sleeve or protective cover was not included/created for this monitor. A felt bag is included, which will protect the screen from a minor scratch, but is NOT rigid enough to warrant storing or carrying this monitor in a bag as it will inevitably crack. Big omission IMO.

Nice second work screen. Very clear and good size. I wish I had bought the upgraded version though. It would be nice to have the auto rotation and touch screen. Very light and perfect for travel.

Great little monitor and fits great in my work bag. Would be great if it also had an HDMI connection for older laptops.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Good screen. I love the portability. The wall mount feature is maybe extra since its a “portable” monitor. Only issue on my end is software, when i plug this in as well as my hdmi monitor, my laptop blue screens

I am an online teacher, and this portable monitor gives me the flexibility that I need to view the eBook on one screen while opening assignment files on the other screen. This makes my work tasks more manageable.

Super portable and worth every penny!!! Also, it looks great next to my Shadow Black 9i. Lenovo mouse on the way to complete the package.

The lighting at its max setting is very dim. It’s not as adjustable in position as I anticipated. You must use the Lenovo brand usb c to usb c cord. Other brands DO NOT work. It’s light and portable.

I’ve been looking for a portable monitor to go along with my Thinkpad for a while and didn’t realize one was offered by Lenovo. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase: it’s very lightweight, comes with it’s own carrying sleeve and easy to plug and play! And the price is right as well!

I love everything about it–it’s light weight, very easy to use, and the screen has no flare. Worth every penny!

Love having the portability to work from anywhere with dual monitors. I cannot efficiently do my job without two monitors and having a portable monitor that fits into my laptop bag is so much more convenient than trying to haul around monitor with all the cords to connect only need to connect with my laptop charger to be able to last (can be used without) and a cable between the two. Only downside is that is it smaller than I am used to.

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T490 and this M14 works seamlessly! The collapsible base and additional ports make it extremely easy to use. I was initially concerned with how bright it would be and if the colours would be vibrant, concerned were unwarranted, they’re both amazing for a portable. Only annoying is the USB-cable, it’s so stiff and it prevents the screen sitting flush against the left side of the laptop (due to the USB-C port on laptop) but it’s a minor preference thing. It’s not the biggest portable screen, but it’s the perfect compliment if you have a Lenovo Thinkpad. Overall performance is excellent and I would highly recommend.

Bought this for when I travel and/or doing any DJing/MC work. Overall this works quite good, though you have to do a little research, as to what devices this will actually work with – it’s works fine with my Lenovo Laptop for work (Lenovo L14/L 15 – I think?), plus my Lenovo M75n IoT PC (which is what I got it for), and my Motorola One Zoom cell phone, perfectly fine – doesn’t work with my Lenovo M75q-1 Tiny PC. The screen quality is very good! It’s at passive monitor (needs power from “parent” device), lightweight, and a built in stand. Very good monitor, for someone needing a lightweight screen when traveling or needing that extra screen for more windows up or watching a show on a larger screen from your cell phone. Just remember, this monitor had two USB-C ports, so microUSB does not work with it.
