This monitor is amazing, great color accuracy and viewing angles. Love the 165hz refresh rate and quick response times. An amazing monitor both for gaming and creating, highly recommend this for anyone
Chaya Lebsack (verified owner) –
Great monitor with nice colors and a sturdy stand, but the stand jutting out takes up a lot of space on the table.
Berneice Halvorson (verified owner) –
The contrast is great on the monitor, I love the resolution. Going from 1080p to 1440p, there is no going back. Beautiful picture, no light bleed on my purchase, its been about two weeks and its amazing so far, definitely recommend.

Excellent screen but one of the two USB ports doesn’t deliver power.
Madisen Turcotte (verified owner) –
Sharp picture! High contrast for fantastic gaming. It provides a terrific experience with high end graphics
Estefania Casper (verified owner) –
Very please with the monitor, great colors and g-sync compatible. Very solid base as well.

I’ve been using this monitor for a couple months now and it is amazing. Gaming at 1440p and over 60fps is game changing. The IPS panel is great for work as well. Text is clear and viewing angles are good. Colors are awesome out of the box. Only issues are its really bright, which may not be an issue for some, but there is no way to change the brightness easily with the monitor. Unlike most monitors, it does not have brightness buttons or a way to control it on the monitor. The settings interface on the monitor is pretty awful too.

Due to the pandemic, I needed a second monitor. I previously used a Dell S2716DG as my primary driver and it is/was fantastic. Needed to augment my setup and decided to buy this device. Holy cow, it’s awesome. I didn’t expect it to be the upgrade to be as noticeable. Out of the box I set it to sRGB and then turned on G-Sync in the control panel. The colors noticeably pop, the picture is silky smooth, and the viewing angles are fantastic. Highly recommend it to someone looking for 1440p with low response times and great colors.

Upgraded from 1080 monitor with TN. Obviously would be better but this monitor is better than alot of the other 1440 monitors. Enabled sRGB for color correction.

Everything feels and looks good! One complain I have is that the stand droops a very slight bit after some use, and it is noticeable if you stare at the screen.

Looks great, beautiful colors, no flickering. The controls and cable placement is lacking though. I much prefer a joystick for panel controls and the cables are tough to keep invisible with how/where they’re hanging down.

Don’t regularly leave reviews, considering I buy everything online, but this monitor has been exceptional for me. No real issues for me but I would want easier and better access to installing the drivers.

Chief, This is it. Great ips gaming monitor. Using lg850 nano ips panel. Perfect versa mount. Love it

Bought this at an awesome deal. It is my first gaming monitor over 60 FPS and I must say, this thing is impressing! The only thing I dont like is that the screen is not completely filled to the thin bezel. Yes the bezel is thin but there is a blank column of black screen on the left and right side.

Great colors, easy to set up, and it looks much better than the 1080p monitor next to it.
Santino Tillman (verified owner) –
Beautiful monitor! Definitely a top-tier IPS display.

The quality of the monitor itself is great – the shell is sturdy and feels premium, there is official G-Sync compatibility, and there are plenty of modern ports (DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0). This monitor is able to output 1440p at 165hz with 10 bit enabled, which at this price point is fantastic. I took off a star because of the panel used in the monitor (which is out of Lenovo’s control). For the pros: It has the fastest response time for an IPS panel on the market, it has great colours, and it has the best white/gray uniformity I’ve personally seen on a gaming monitor thus far. This monitor also runs at 165hz, which is a modest bump over 144hz if your graphics card can push the frames. Unfortunately, there is more IPS glow in the bottom left corner than any recent IPS gaming monitors I’ve used, as well as subtly worse contrast than competing panels. I’ve tested a similar monitor with the same panel, and that monitor had even worse IPS glow and contrast, whereas my Lenovo Y27Q has bearable IPS glow and better contrast (at least with my unit). I also have an issue where my screen goes black when G-Sync is enabled and the framerate in-game drastically drops (such as loading screens or entering a menu), but that seems to be an isolated issue with Nvidia Pascal 10xx cards (and there is currently a workaround for the issue if you google online). I can easily recommend this monitor, as I believe it’s the best monitor you can get for the money as of March 2020, at least until newer panels with better technology are released at an affordable price. For what Lenovo has control over (regarding QC, monitor build, etc) they’ve done a great job with this monitor.

So far no issues at all. Completely worth the money.

I wish I could give this monitor all 5 stars. There was a problem where the monitor would enter a power save mode for a few seconds or longer that was supposedly fixed. A lot of people still complain about it on the forums. Using DisplayPort is Windows no longer gives me issues but I still get the black screens under any linux distribution I have tried. Using HDMI works fine so that’s all I use until the DisplayPort issue gets totally corrected. Aside from the black screen issue, its a great monitor. It’s a huge upgrade from my 32 inch 60 Hz panel. Colors look great with just the right brightness. Coupled with perksatwork this monitor is a great deal. If you’re a Windows user, definitely get this! If you dual boot like me, I would recommend shying away from this unless you’re ok with using HDMI 2.0 The black screens will drive you crazy!

Good monitor, good colors, blacks are deep, like that the bezels are very thin
