Great monitors. The picture quality and colors are fantastic. I cannot compare to the LG or DELL similar models, but you will not be upset with these. Great build quality too.
Vivienne D’Amore (verified owner) –
The monitor is amazing with good viewing angles. The games look and run phenomenal at 144Hz.

The monitor quality itself is amazing, but the software that runs it could use some work (or the standards that are being implemented by it). The monitor appears to force you to use DisplayPort’s optional spec of Plug’n’Play standard, where when the monitor is ‘powered off’ it tells the computer it has been disconnected. Most other monitor manufacturers allow you to toggle ‘power saving mode’ or some other setting, which allows Windows to not reset your desktop every time the monitor turns on or off. This is particularly frustrating because I like my open applications (and desktop icons) to stay where they are without third party software, and I remote into my computer frequently, which means I no longer have access to that monitor whenever it is off. For a high end monitor, this should be an expected feature and is frustrating to not have. I tried contacting their support about this but got the runaround and eventually they stopped replying to me (and there is no portal to login to in order to view the status of the ticket, etc, but that’s not this monitors fault). All in all though, this monitor’s quality and refresh hate has been wonderful, as has the build quality. If this is something that can be updated via a firmware update in future, I’d be more than happy to update this to a 5-star review, but it’s too major of an issue for me to ignore without a fix.

Good monitor. Only complaint is the stand. It’s a little big

Decided it was time to upgrade my PC setup that I built 8 years ago starting with the monitor and peripherals. Looking around, it seemed many agreed 27″ 1440p was the sweet spot so I started researching monitors in that segment. After looking around stumbled onto the Legion Y27q-20 and it’s pretty much one of the best high refresh rate 27″ 1440p IPS monitors on the market right now. It uses LG’s Nano-IPS panel from the GL850 with 1ms response rate. Was debating between this and the LG which had comparable prices when I was looking to buy. The Legion Y27q-20 won with its better build quality (metal stand, headphone stand, swiveling mount) all on top having 165hz vs LG’s 144hz. One downside compared to the GL850 would be having to use buttons for the OSD controls instead of having joystick controls though admittedly, I rarely fiddle with my settings. Surprisingly, there are pretty much no reviews for this out there on YouTube or tech sites despite having been out for some time. Dunno if this is just due to limited availability or what, but glad I took the chance and grabbed this anyways. Love it so far!

A nice high refresh rate monitor with sturdy design. The OSD menu can be further improved, but it is easy enough to switch between color modes.

Really good montior. Improve my gaming experience alot.

The near bezel-less screen makes it perfect for a side-by-side triple monitor setup. Colors and customizability options make it so i have the best accuracy for how a screen should look, and the native 165hz refresh rate is just the icing on the cake. I cant speak well enough to the KVM switch, as well as the other handy features (VESA and headphone holder). I’d definitely be happy without these, but it came as a nice surprise since i wasnt expecting itz Easy 5/5

Great colours, great response time, and true 165hz IPS. Very clear and almost no inverse ghosting. You get three USB ports and a combo headphone/mic jack. Honestly what more could you ask for?
Weston Boyle (verified owner) –
Excellent monitor for gaming. Sharp text and vivid colors. Great value!
Leanne Collier (verified owner) –
I was looking for a good 2k monitor with high refresh rate to improve my set up and it took my game to the next level. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Alexie Wolff (verified owner) –
Bright and beautiful with rich colors and incredibly smooth refresh rate! My games never looked so good!!!
Bart Crooks (verified owner) –
Pairs well with GeForce 2070 Super. Colors seem accurate and refresh is smooth.

Been having the monitor a few weeks now and so far so good generally speaking. Screen has a little backlight bleed/glow in top left area as well as bottom right (common on IPS panels) but its not a deal breaker. I’ve had a few issues when playing Warzone, not sure if this is specific to the monitor, but the game and monitor will be out of sync for a few seconds randomly. It didn’t happen with my old monitor so I’m not sure the issue. Button layout is okay, but could definitely be a little more intuitive. Once you get use to it it’s pretty simple though. Image quality is amazing and it produces the entire RGB gamut for vibrant colors. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and would rate this 4/5 so far.

Took some adjusting with Nvidia to get the 144hz settings and get the color correct. This is a large monitor that works well for gaming. Has a neat little hook that folds out from the side to hang your headset when you aren’t using it. Only downfall is I didn’t get the bottom screw/part to secure the monitor in the stand.

A great monitor for gaming and everything else! No dead pixels. A little darkening on the outside edges but not distracting at all. Only noticeable on a white screen.
