Featuring a 165 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time, this 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution monitor is designed to deliver liquid smooth graphics with minimal motion blur during high-action sequences. With NVIDIA G-Sync technology, the monitor reduces screen tearing, stuttering, and other artifacts when it is connected to compatible graphics cards through the HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.4 inputs. The Legion Y27q-20 also supports up to 1.07 billion colors, bringing rich details to games, videos, and photos. You can rotate the screen 90° in either direction to view documents in portrait mode and help save space with multi-monitor setups. The integrated USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub allows you to quickly connect peripherals such as flash drives, keyboards, and mice through the monitor.

This is my first foray into high refresh rate gaming monitors, and I’m blown away by it out of the box. I also appreciate the Legion line’s aesthetics – same gaming performance, a whole lot less of that gaudy, RGB lightning loaded, in-your-face styling that a lot of other gaming brands tend to do.

Incredibly perfect monitor! High FPS and ultra low latency boosted my gaming performance. Accurate out of box color saved me from doing annoying color calibration. I recommend this monitor to everyone if the budget allows.

Excellent monitor! However, one of my few concerns is that having the headphone jack on the back of the monitor doesn’t work well with the short wired headphones since it will drag my headphone wire through the middle of the keyboard making it harder to type. I also think the monitor menu setting is not very easy to use. Side note: there supposedly some optional speaker (Monitor USB Speaker with Sound by Harman Kardon) that can be added to the monitor, but it seems there no way to purchase it separately anywhere online. Therefore, do buy the monitor with optional speaker since its the same cost without it.

It’s a great monitor plays games well good and is an all around great monitor but the reason i gave it a 4 star is because it’s not a 165 hz monitor.

Had this monitor for over a week and it’s a joy to use! Contrast is good considering this is an IPS panel. No noticeable backlight bleed at all with my unit which is a big plus for me. The resolution and framerate has made PC gaming a lot more fun for me as I appreciate the graphics in games I play wayyy more than before. I also have to mention that the monitor stand is solid and does not feel cheap; it looks good and I think many people can fit it into a setup if you aren’t in a rush to use vesa mounts. I personally think this is the best 1440p monitor you can get in the market as of this review. Once tech progesses more; hopefully there is a 4k version of this down road!

Absolutely amazing monitor. The colors and accuracy are already nice, but add the ability to run games at 144hz and super fast 1ms response time with excellent sound with the jbl speakers. This is THE monitor to get. Don’t think about it, just buy it now!

Screen is nice if it wasn’t for the fact I had a dead pixel on it when I just got it. Support is giving me a run around with getting it fixed and this will be my 4th time trying to contact them about it. SO might as well give a bad review.

Beautiful picture, however massive issues with g-sync working through DisplayPort. Constant flickering of black screens that followed me even back over to HDMI.

Great price. Great Monitor. 100×100 VESA mount. 1440p at 165 hz. I have not encountered any IPS glow or backlight bleeding, but YMMV.

This is an great monitor for the value . It has vibrant colors, a 1440p resolution, 165hz refresh rate, supports freesync, and has very minimal input lag. My monitor’s colors are uniform, but did need a bit of calibration (lowered green color temp to 97%) and there is very little backlight bleed expect a little in the bottom right corner. There is some IPS glow but is to be expected with any IPS monitor.

This is an awesome monitor and great value for what you’re getting! The color is great and everything is easy to optimize. The stand is very durable and high quality if you decide to use it. All around, this is one of the top 1440p, 165hz monitors that you can get.

I’ve been using this monitor for a few weeks now and I’m in love with it, the display is really nice, the bezels are extremely thin, hardly any backlight bleed. This is probably one of the best 1440p 27inch 1ms IPS monitors you can get, especially for this price point. The menus are also extremely easy to navigate with the nice buttons on the front and I also love how he entire stand is metal, makes it feel very sturdy. My only complaint with it would be that the stands rubber is blue which doesn’t really go with my mostly red/rainbow setup but it’s not too noticeable and that effects performance in no way but I would have preferred it to be black or the same grayish color as the stand. I am very impressed with this monitor and would recommend if anyone is looking for the specs listed, this would be the one to get.

Great looking monitor. I upgraded from an older 1440p 60hz IPS display and not only is the high refresh rate awesome, but I was surprised how much better the brightness, contrast, and color were as well. Very pleased with the shipping speed, no dead pixels, and minimal backlight bleed. Connected via displayport and resolution/165hz was automatically picked set in Windows, no fiddling necessary. Would not hesitate to purchase again, great monitor!
