At first i didn’t know what my expectation would be on the IdeaPad Flex 5 14 (Intel) 2 in 1, i actually wanted the 8gb ram, but it was sold out and my current Laptop crashed and needed a laptop ASAP for work. I am pleasantly surprised by this inexpensive little gem!

Super fast, big screen, lightweight. The price is right and I love it and period.

though 14in would be too small, but hey, perfect size after all! Keyboard touch is perfect, and touchscreen works just great with the stylet.

THIS is what I was looking for. I was looking for a solid computer option for my 10 year old daughter. She needed a computer for games and school. I tried a Chromebook first, but it just had limitations that I couldn’t get past. This one (IdeaPad Flex 5 14 (Intel) 2 in 1) offers everything she needed. The slim, light weight size is great for her. The touch screen is helpful. I love that it runs Windows. The price was acceptable.

This was my first 2 in 1 purchase. It’s great for my art programs being able to use the screen directly. Streaming video is nice as well when flipping the unit around and using the screen. Mot a bad laptop at all.

I love the computer, however I have a problem with the charger. It doesn’t stay on the plug, it keeps falling the whole time. It would be awesome if you guys could send me a different charger.

I have used Dell laptops for years, either at work or personally. I recently was moved to a Lenovo at work and changed over personally as well. My Dell has been sent back for repairs 4 times in 3 years…ENOUGH. I love the new laptop and will never go back again. Thanks!

It’s a very speedy unit and it handles tasks very well. I wish the keyboard had deeper keythrow, but it is acceptable and I am an old professional television writer who dates back long before computers. I’ve bought a cherry blue keyboard to use with this unit and a large monitor. The flex capability is definitely a big plus. I regularly fold it up and have a bite to eat where the body usually lies. Lenovo’s OEM system app is quite good. OK, so here’s the big problem. As you can see in the photo, I rest my palm left of the track pad. I only rest the left pad of my palm. Just as you see. I do a great deal of email writing, and I write long emails. I also do long posts in my Facebook Group most days. This in addition to Word, etc. But the problem keeps happening in Gmail and Facebook. I will be writing, and I will have quite a few words written, and suddenly something will happen…it has to do with that left hand left pad of my palm…it seems that it accidentally contacts one of the keys near it, line Ctrl, Fn, Windows. And ZAP, everything I have written will simply disappear, all the work goes to nothing. Sometimes it also send what I have partially written in Gmail. At this point I have not hooked in the gaming keyboard, which I imagine will solve this, but I warn buyers to be careful of whatever is happening with me.

Bought this for my wife, but I use it occasionally too. It provides computer power when we can’t be sitting at our desktops. It’s been fast and reliable.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We’re happy with the Flex 5 we purchased as it seems rigid enough to take some rough users plus the components meet our families needs. Having 8 GB of RAM was a minimum for us due to the number of spreadsheets we routinely are working through. Plus the SSD drive gives us confidence that we won’t run out of storage on the device soon.

This is a great overall budget laptop for university students. Coming from an entire Apple ecosystem, this laptop runs great and I love the touchscreen. The fan isn’t too loud, and the laptop is able to support daily use and moderate work/student software with no issues at all.

It’s great at multi tasking. Tablet mode is useful but sometimes messes up (like freezes for a second). Overall, it’s really practical.

The laptop works great for my daughter’s school distance learning. It came just in time before school starts.
