This laptop also features an empty 2.5″ SATA III bay that can accommodate an HDD or SSD for even more storage space. Wired peripherals can be connected to two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports or a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port supporting power delivery. When the webcam is not in use, you can even block the lens with a privacy shutter, ensuring privacy. Further safety measures include power-on, HDD, and supervisor passwords, as well as a dedicated TPM chip and touch-style fingerprint reader. In addition to a touchpad, the user interface includes a backlit keyboard with a number pad. This laptop features an integrated battery that can last for up 12 hours on a single charge. Ryzen 4500u was sold out so i had to get i5 which is good too. This laptop has a ton of features: usb-c port which offers power delivery and display function, quick charge, fingerprint reader, a back-lit keyboard, a usb A that can always have power (so you can charge your phone even when the laptop is turned off completely), 300 nits of brightness which you wont find in such a cheap laptop, 14 hours battery (realistically 6-9 hours) which is impossible to find in its price range, built-in privacy shutter on camera, 2 WiFi 6 antennas, Bluetooth 5.1 (2019 technology which is pretty new), a keyboard better than macbook air, aluminum top panel in 15′ (fully aluminum in 14 inch model) AND A TOUCHSCREEN. A problem you may face is being limited to 8GB ram since you cant upgrade it later EVER, so get more ram if you want it to last longer.

I am very happy with my Lenovo computer. After having had a previous computer for 3 years. That I never was happy with as it was slow to start up. As soon as I got this, and started it up it was instantly there ready for me it has made my life doing distance learning a lot more easier. Thank you!

Computer is fine and hosts Windows 10 perfectly. The Leno Vantage is another story. Bloated and of very little value. I mostly ignore it. Vantage promotes paid services that are unwanted and in most cases unnecessary. Some of the Vantage “scans” never finish or result in “failed” without explanation.

Very fast. Easy to set up and use. Bought it to make videos, works great for that. So much better than my old, slow computer. Screen size is perfect. Pleased with purchase.

Beautiful, quiet machine and so fast! I’m so glad I purchased this, it does everything I need it to do. The ubiquitous zoom calls are crisp, streaming content never buffers and the battery has a good life and charges quickly. We bought our Granddaughter a Lenovo about 5 years ago and it is still going strong even through online school to online games. We’re glad we made that choice since that seems to be life right now. It was money well spent then and I think now as well.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have been a long time Dell user and when it came time to replace my aging machine, it was with a little nervousness that I made the switch to Lenovo. Since my transition I have noticed the plethora of businesses that use Lenovo…and with good reason! I have found after a couple of weeks that my new tool is markedly better in virtually all aspects – realizing that upgrading from a 7 year old machine will be impressive in any case. No regrets – so far!
