Take performance on the go with the graphite gray 15.6″ IdeaPad 5 Laptop from Lenovo. Designed for work or play, the IdeaPad 5 sports a 1 GHz Intel Core i5-1035G1 quad-core CPU and 8GB of DDR4 RAM for punchy processing. An ample 512GB SSD can accommodate user files, including a video or photo library. Need more storage? This laptop also features an empty 2.5″ SATA III bay that can accommodate an HDD or SSD for even more storage space. Wired peripherals can be connected to two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports or a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port supporting power delivery. Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity is also present, allowing users to connect wireless peripherals as well. And, with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, in addition to 2×2 dual-band support, users can take advantage of faster internet speeds and stronger connections compared to older Wi-Fi 5.
Employing a 15.6″ 1920 x 1080 TN display with a 135° hinge, the IdeaPad 5 features integrated Intel UHD Graphics and can extend or mirror content to additional displays via the USB Type-C or HDMI 1.4b ports. Media can be accessed via a 4-in-1 card reader that supports MMC, SD, SDHC, or SDXC memory cards. And, with a 1MP HD webcam, dual-array microphone, and integrated speaker system, users can easily videoconference at home or out and about. When the webcam is not in use, you can even block the lens with a privacy shutter, ensuring privacy. Further safety measures include power-on, HDD, and supervisor passwords, as well as a dedicated TPM chip and touch-style fingerprint reader. In addition to a touchpad, the user interface includes a backlit keyboard with a number pad. This laptop features an integrated battery that can last for up 12 hours on a single charge. The Lenovo 15.6" IdeaPad 5 runs on the Windows 10 Home Operating System.

Unfortunately I bought this laptop expecting great things. But what happened was the opposite. After using about 4 times it got extremely hot that I thought it would melt. The next day I attempted to use it but the screen froze and gave me an error msg. I tried everything including the attempt to turn it off. Well it wouldn’t even turn off!!! So tomorrow on my off day will go to the store where I bought it and return it.

Have been a fan for lenovo for many years now. Bought this computer and initially had an issue of not starting up. The computer went into sleep mode and never woke up. This was 3 days after purchasing it. Fortunately where I purchased it gave me a new computer. No cost. I have been more careful of the computer but love it. While it does go into sleep mode and need a bit of a hard restart, it otherwise works brilliantly. Glad to have it and continue to deal with lenovo.

So far this laptop is proving to be a very solid performer. The display is not great but it’s okay, and the low price and impressive hardware specs make it a fair trade off. The case is nice but not super sturdy. Again, it’s fine for the price; take reasonable care and the case will never be an issue. 4.5 stars

This laptop is lightweight, sleek and a great value. I purchased the laptop to complete collegiate homework in accounting. The keyboard includes the 10-key and backlit keys.The backlit keys have three settings: off, low backlit, and high backlit. The touchpad mouse is a little touchy especially if you are used to setting your left hand on the laptap while typing or resting, but overall I am pleased with my purchase.

key placement in the keyboard is the best in Lenovo, Runs all Assasin’s creed games in very high graphics configuration and no heating at all, screen brightness can be more that’s the only reason for 4star other wise it will be a 5 star, I love Lenovo laptops even my old laptop is Ideapad 5-15ITL05. Everthing is great and works so smooth.
