Take performance on the go with the graphite gray 15.6″ IdeaPad 5 Laptop from Lenovo. Designed for work or play, the IdeaPad 5 sports a 1 GHz Intel Core i5-1035G1 quad-core CPU and 8GB of DDR4 RAM for punchy processing. An ample 512GB SSD can accommodate user files, including a video or photo library. Need more storage? This laptop also features an empty 2.5″ SATA III bay that can accommodate an HDD or SSD for even more storage space. Wired peripherals can be connected to two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports or a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port supporting power delivery. Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity is also present, allowing users to connect wireless peripherals as well. And, with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, in addition to 2×2 dual-band support, users can take advantage of faster internet speeds and stronger connections compared to older Wi-Fi 5.
Employing a 15.6″ 1920 x 1080 TN display with a 135° hinge, the IdeaPad 5 features integrated Intel UHD Graphics and can extend or mirror content to additional displays via the USB Type-C or HDMI 1.4b ports. Media can be accessed via a 4-in-1 card reader that supports MMC, SD, SDHC, or SDXC memory cards. And, with a 1MP HD webcam, dual-array microphone, and integrated speaker system, users can easily videoconference at home or out and about. When the webcam is not in use, you can even block the lens with a privacy shutter, ensuring privacy. Further safety measures include power-on, HDD, and supervisor passwords, as well as a dedicated TPM chip and touch-style fingerprint reader. In addition to a touchpad, the user interface includes a backlit keyboard with a number pad. This laptop features an integrated battery that can last for up 12 hours on a single charge. The Lenovo 15.6" IdeaPad 5 runs on the Windows 10 Home Operating System.

Lightweight for its size, beautiful color and overall design. Screen size ratio is great, matte screen design is especially useful against fingerprints. Keyboard is okay, could use a little ore elevation. Fan is relatively quiet, but can get incredibly loud, which isn’t great. Overall, everything works fine, great purchase.

I love my new ideapad 5. The features are perfect for my needs and the computer is not too heavy. The battery lasts for a good amount of time and the keyboard is back lite. Overall great laptop. I really enjoy it and all of its features/capabilities. The one reason its 4 stars is because there were here and there simple things that wouldnt work and I would have to restart my laptop or do little things to fix stuff that shouldnt stop working in the first place. Simple stuff like audio, display brightness and different key shortcuts/freezes but not common and overall fantastic laptop.

I’ve had it for 3 weeks and so far it’s been great! no issues. I bought it to replace my old laptop that stopped working (dell inspiron with an i7 processor, purchased in 2016). Very affordable considering how fast of a laptop it is. Runs games well. It doesn’t overheat like my old laptop, even when it was new. I do wish it had more than 2 usb ports (I have a wireless mouse and fan, but no room for another usb drive).
