Take performance on the go with the graphite gray 15.6″ IdeaPad 5 Laptop from Lenovo. Designed for work or play, the IdeaPad 5 sports a 1 GHz Intel Core i5-1035G1 quad-core CPU and 8GB of DDR4 RAM for punchy processing. An ample 512GB SSD can accommodate user files, including a video or photo library. Need more storage? This laptop also features an empty 2.5″ SATA III bay that can accommodate an HDD or SSD for even more storage space. Wired peripherals can be connected to two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports or a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port supporting power delivery. Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity is also present, allowing users to connect wireless peripherals as well. And, with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, in addition to 2×2 dual-band support, users can take advantage of faster internet speeds and stronger connections compared to older Wi-Fi 5.
Employing a 15.6″ 1920 x 1080 TN display with a 135° hinge, the IdeaPad 5 features integrated Intel UHD Graphics and can extend or mirror content to additional displays via the USB Type-C or HDMI 1.4b ports. Media can be accessed via a 4-in-1 card reader that supports MMC, SD, SDHC, or SDXC memory cards. And, with a 1MP HD webcam, dual-array microphone, and integrated speaker system, users can easily videoconference at home or out and about. When the webcam is not in use, you can even block the lens with a privacy shutter, ensuring privacy. Further safety measures include power-on, HDD, and supervisor passwords, as well as a dedicated TPM chip and touch-style fingerprint reader. In addition to a touchpad, the user interface includes a backlit keyboard with a number pad. This laptop features an integrated battery that can last for up 12 hours on a single charge. The Lenovo 15.6" IdeaPad 5 runs on the Windows 10 Home Operating System.

SO FAR NO COMPLAINTS YET! Prior to buying, I did a lot of research about what I needed & must have for my next laptop and right out the bat I’ve noticed there’s a lot of laptops out there with 15.4 size that don’t have the 10 keys function and in my line of work, its a must to have that function. I come across this laptop and it was everything I was looking for and made the purchase. In 4 days, rec’d the laptop on 8/4/20 and been using it every day for work including weekends. Setup was very simple & easy and as long as you have everything backup from your old PC in advanced, transferring files to the new laptop was a breeze and surprisingly, I didn’t encounter any problems with that 1st part. 2nd, I really like the clean cut design, its very thin, keyboard is comfortable not like others tend to squeeze the keys together and left with wide boarders (I don’t get that), screen is big enough for a laptop (I got the 15.4 screen) & its very light weight which is easy to be carrying around between work & home; and, since the laptop is so thin, I can stuff more files to the same bag that I was using for the old laptop. I would recommended this laptop for anyone and in fact, I’ll be buying again soon for my daughter as a replacement for her desktop, it will definitely help with her desk space since now all classes is online and she would need more space to do her assignments & hands-on project. Lastly, the price point was also a big factor in purchasing this product, other brands with similar build costs over $200 or more.
