An ample 512GB SSD can accommodate user files, including a video or photo library. Need more storage? This laptop also features an empty 2.5″ SATA III bay that can accommodate an HDD or SSD for even more storage space. Wired peripherals can be connected to two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports or a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port supporting power delivery. And, with a 1MP HD webcam, dual-array microphone, and integrated speaker system, users can easily videoconference at home or out and about. When the webcam is not in use, you can even block the lens with a privacy shutter, ensuring privacy. Further safety measures include power-on, HDD, and supervisor passwords, as well as a dedicated TPM chip and touch-style fingerprint reader. In addition to a touchpad, the user interface includes a backlit keyboard with a number pad. This laptop features an integrated battery that can last for up 12 hours on a single charge. I recently purchased a Lenovo Notebook to replace our 11 year Notebook. I was not originally familiar with the brand, so I did some checking and found very good reviews. Some companies only buy Lenovo. I had a problem with using the camera, and Lenovo Technical Support was great to guide me through the solution by phone. It was actually fun to set it up and get started with the computer talking me through the procedures. It has great performance and is just what we needed.

I have had a older Ideapad for eight years and it was time for a new one. I am happy with my new one. I recently ordered some scans of historical pictures and the downloads are so much faster than with my old ones. The new Ideapad is also good with my Adobe Photo program.

Laptop arrived as scheduled with no damage. Nice looking . This replaces a 10 year old Samsung laptop for me so seemed small at first. However, quickly realized it has same screen size and many more features in a sleeker more compact design. Love the finger print recognition built into the power key. Starts up lightening fast and operates smoothly. Others commented on the display but I think it’s as good as any. I do wish it had 1 more USB port. Not a major issue just upgraded to blue tooth mouse to free up port. Overall very pleased with BH and new laptop.

Lenovo has done it again. I have had my old Ideapad for “forever.” It has been a workhorse and has never had any issues. It was time for me to update my computer to one that has higher capabilities, and I really wanted a laptop that also had a touchscreen. I am beyond happy with my Ideapad 5. If I knew how good it was going to be I probably would have purchased one sooner. The laptop is AMAZING, especially at this price point. I would absolutely recommend this laptop. I am very happy with my purchase!

This laptop performs great. The price was very reasonable and thus far I could not be happier. This is my second Lenovo. The first one is 10 years old and still functioning.

I absolutely adore it! I’ll admit that it was not my first choice when I was looking at laptops but I being able to demo it a little in the store turned it into the number one. I love thst my keyboard has the option to be lit up as well as using a finger print sensor makes it a lot more convient than having to type a password every time
