I am self employed and in sales. I use my laptop at home and on the road. I was always an HP guy. But my last Envy 360 had the battery swell and warped my keyboard. So it was time for a new one. I looked at many new models and manufacturers and in the case of my HP they were exactly like my old one. Not updated at all. I was telling this to my counterpart in Florida and he told me he likes Lenovo. He’s had his for awhile and had no issues. He said he especially liked the Migration program to move everything from the old computer to the new one. And that has always been a real pain when getting a new computer. Well after reading many reviews and asking people I decided it was time for a change. I have had mine for only about 2 weeks but I really like it. Set up with the Lenovo migration program was a breeze. Just make sure that both computers have the program, lay them side by side, push a button and they synced all programs and data, via WiFi and no cords. Took about 30 minutes. The only things that didn’t sync were my Outlook email folders that I created. Thats an issue with Outlook and a problem for any computer. Both my old and new are 15″, but the Lenovo is thinner, lighter, better keyboard and boots up quicker. Also the screen is brighter and sharper. The keys on the keboard have a good feel to them so I was happy about that as well. I think at this point I am sorry I didn’t switch sooner. Also the pricing was better for what I got and was a better value than an HP would have been. I bought it directly from Lenovo and not a store. Using the Lenovo website for purchase was easy. After purchase, Lenovo sent me many emails for tracking, when it shipped and when to expect it. I use my laptop primarily for work but also for personal web surfing, movies and many other things. The extra warranties offered were at a very affordable price so I took advantage of those as well. So as my buddy in Florida would say, I highly recommend this IdeaPad to anyone that is looking for a new laptop.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It does everything a laptop should do. I love the sleek look and durable metal exterior, not the typical cheap plastic. It was a nice surprise when I found out it was touchscreen, a nice bonus. The only complaint i have is i can’t switch my keyboard language for some reason. But I’ve only been using it less than a month and it is a major upgrade from my previous, so I’m pretty satisfied.

Great laptop for me, it is very fast with enough storage. Browsing and streaming above average.

The computer works pretty well, but overheats very easily. The fan turns on all the time and it gets really loud, so much so that it would be better to wear noise cancelling head phones to watch videos or play games than to just let the audio play.

Good laptop for the price. Solid performance without the big price tag.

We needed new Computers For our Online Business and read that Lenovo was one of the most suggested brands. After a month of use I love My Idea pad 5. If it last as long as my Toshibas, with no issues, I will for sure make my next computer a Lenovo too. And the People I delt with were really kind and Helpful.

The setup process was a bit more laborious than expected, but it’s a nice lightweight laptop that runs fast and seems like it will do everything I need. A good value.
