It boots up really fast. Does not get hot when setting on your lap. The display is not that great. Viewing angles are narrow. Seems to favor a warm cast. Tried adjusting RGB, didn’t help much. But that is really my only complaint. As for B&H Photo, simply the best company and website out there!

I bought this for my 10 year old for school and she loved it, for a few hours. After a few hours this thing started acting up! It would not turn on so I thought it was dead, but even after charging it for hours it would not turn on you I would advise you to save your money and not buy this useless piece of junk! Would not ever buy again, 1 star.

I bought this notebook because it was inexpensive and a decent-looking configuration. Performance has been acceptable, but there are some strange things that happen, like the fact that I couldn’t get it into hibernate or sleep mode. And support (via Twitter) was basically useless, initially telling me that hibernate was not an included feature, then telling me a whole bunch of “a,b,c” answers, after I made it clear I had already tried those items. Decent screen, camera, and audio, so far. For the price, it’s not a bad deal.

I bought this for my wife to replace her H* that constantly gave her problems. She loves it! It’s fast and the lighted keyboard and touchscreen are just huge bonuses. Worth it!

Had this for two weeks and it stopped working. Was doing my school work on it and it stopped connecting to internet. Tried everything to fix it and it’s a complete dud.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is definitely a great laptop for an amazing price. I wanted a 15 inch touchscreen laptop with best configaration like 16 GBS Ram, 512 SSD HD, Intel 11th gen core i7. Nothing can compete with this in terms of price and quality. I’ve been enjoying this for more than a month now. There haven’t been any glitches or issues with the laptop so far. I love the fingerprint reader on power button. It’s really snappy and a really easy way to unlock the laptop. I think I will definitely recommend this to everyone who is looking for a high end laptop for budget price.

This laptop is fast with a nice matte finish. I learned that the Ethernet cable has been done away with, making room for new connections like usb-c for optimum speed. Highly recommend!

Lenovo IdealPad is simply the best. It is very versatile with its features such as Dolby Audio, Number Keypad (which is very rare for a laptop), Touchscreen and the Fingerprint Lock feature is just convenient and secured at the same time.

I needed a laptop for school so I don’t have to hide in my office all the time. This one is great! It’s fast and I love the separate number keypad.

Nice laptop, lightweight, perfect for what I need. Doesn’t have a plug for internet, so I have to use wifi but that’s ok so far.

Great work laptop for its price. The microphone plug is quite small so I can’t use my microphone. But the speed and storage way make up for it.

I got my Lenovo Ideapad 5 from a local Staples in order to use it for college. I have the non-touchscreen model with an i7 Intel processor and 16 GB of RAM. Let me just say, I love this laptop. Looking at it, it’s a very sleek dark gray color. It looks nice and isn’t distracting or flashy. Personally, I love simpler-looking designs, so the laptop is very pleasing to look at. When it comes to the specs, I definitely can’t complain. For the price I paid, I got double the RAM than any other laptop in its price range, and it has 500+ GB of SSD. Combined with the i7 processor, this computer runs very smoothly, and can run just about anything. For other features, I love the function keys. You have your standard functions, but there’s also a lot of new functions that are very helpful. For instance, there’s a snippet tool built into the print screen key, which allows you to crop the area of the screen you wish to take a screenshot of. Also, the laptop does have keyboard lighting located on the spacebar, but it actually has 2 levels of brightness! Overall, there’s a lot of nifty functions I adore. The one complaint I have heard many people talk about is the graphics. While I did notice the coloration to be a little washed out at first, I quickly adjusted. Also, the laptop gets the colors in games pretty well and can run just about any game, so for me, I dont have any issues. Alongside school, I do my fair share of gaming, and I really can’t complain. Overall, it’s a great laptop, especially for the price. If you’re going to be multitasking on one, I would definitely recommend the i7 over the i5. The cost difference isn’t huge and you get all the processing power you could wish for.

Only having it for two weeks, I like the idea pad better than the Yoga I owned previously. It is light weight and has great power. There are two things that I am still learning. One is the touch pad. I am doing something which causes the zoom to change the content size. Totally operator error. The other thing is it came with Windows 11. So learning a new lay out is a bit daunting. It’s a fabulous piece of technology. And an excellent price.
