It’s built with an In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel, which provides you with wide 178° viewing angles and vivid colors, and has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 for roughly 8.3 million pixels. Combined with a 250 cd/m² brightness rating, dynamic mega contrast, and support for 1.07 billion colors, you’ll be able to enjoy crisp and clear content with darker blacks and brighter bright colors for an immersive viewing experience. Furthermore, it has a 5 ms response time and supports FreeSync technology, which syncs the monitor’s refresh rate to the graphics card’s frame rate output for smooth, tear- and stutter-free gaming. Connect this display to your system via HDMI or DisplayPort and adjust it to your viewing preference. Otherwise, you can use the 100 x 100mm VESA mounting holes to install an alternate stand or mount.

This monitor was ordered to replace an old 4:3 monitor. Instant improvement. With the current computer it is only outputting 1080p, but it is very crisp and the colors are good. It isn’t as nice as a 5K iMac display, but it is very good and will hopefully last for yours to come. If the new computer comes I will update regarding 4k & free sync

The LG 24 CLASS 4K UHD IPS LED MONITOR is installed as a desktop monitor for my Mac Pro Laptop. It was a very easy setup right out of the box. The color accuracy and resolution are very good. I also use it with a PC laptop for work. Both use an HDMI input and switching between them is relatively easy to do.

This is my second purchase of the same monitor. I upgraded my iMac pro setup with a second and third 4K monitor. I also use these monitors with an Apple TV in my studio. They look great. Split audio from HDMI with aftermarket device although audio output on monitor works fine.

I actually purchased the USED (grade 10) version of this monitor – and its absolutely well worth the money! (so of course the new version is even more so.) I have worked as a multimedia specialist / web developer / graphic designer at a major university for the last 18 years – and recently made the switch to full-time middle school/high school teaching, so I needed a set up with my MacBook Pro that was similar to the set up I had at my previous position. I bought this as a less expensive alternative to the 27 5K Ultrafine monitor I had at my university position. This monitor is exceptional and honestly is not far behind the 5K version I had previously – but at MUCH LOWER price! The color and resolution is a very good match to my MBP retina display. Do not hesitate to purchase this – its a really great monitor and works flawlessly (even the used version).

I bought this monitor specifically to use with my new 4K outdoor security camera system. I’ve only had it for about a month, but so far I’m extremely glad I did. Conventional wisdom says 4K isn’t that much of an improvement over 1080p on smaller screens, but I wanted the best clarity possible for my cameras. A 24-inch monitor was the biggest I could fit under the shelf of the hutch on my desk, but I sit fairly close to it anyway, so a bigger panel really isn’t necessary. The results are excellent! My three cameras transmit in color during the day, but two of them switch to infrared black and white at night. The clarity on this monitor is terrific in either mode. My cameras can see up to nearly 200 feet at night, and not only are close-up images clear and sharp, but background images are quite good too.. There are easy adjustments for color, contrast, saturation, brightness et al, and a quick plug-in with an HDMI cable was all it took to connect the monitor to my NVR. It has an attractive curved base that is quite stable. I have no doubt this LG unit would make an excellent computer monitor as well, and I’m considering buying another to replace my current 1080p screen. If you want crisp, colorful images on a smaller screen you can’t go wrong with this one.
