I use it every day for about 8-10 hours for my work and I have absolutely no issues with it. It’s a perfect addition to my home office setup. It works great with my macbook pro 15 – connected using usb-c, and charges laptop through the same cable.

At first it took a bit of getting used to. I was coming from a 1080p monitor so when I hooked this one up the text was much smaller. But I got used to it. The colors are so much more saturated and the text is sharper. I also love the fact that it came with its own mount. I would purchase it again.

The ergo stands are stout, no question LG intended these to last. Monitors stay where you put them, no annoying droop or movement even when raising and lowering my Vari desk. I purchased two of these monitors since I work on both spreadsheets and marketing layouts within indesign . I can have them both landscape or easily swivel one to portrait. Much easier with two independent mounts vs a shared center column. Cable management works well. The only reason for 4 stars is due to the lack of USB-C pass through. I cannot seem to find a dock or hub that will support dual USB-C video so I am stuck using DisplayPort or HDMI. Not sure if any brand supports this. As far as picture quality goes I have had many LG panels from old school LCD to a 65″ OLED and this model does not disappoint. I could not justify the additional expense for 4K and would rather put my money in to comfort and ergonomics. QHD resolution is sufficient at a normal viewing distance without modifying text size.

You can forgo after sales service with this product as it is non existent. I noticed an image quality issue shortly after purchase (outside the return period) that of screen burning after 10 mins of a static image. I have returned to LG twice for repair but the monitor comes back with the same very noticeable issue. The last occasion it was returned without the power adaptor they asked to be sent with the screen and I have now been without the unit for almost two months. LG will not replace or return calls. Please consider other options

After looking through multiple monitor options for my home desk set-up to I went with the LG Ergo. It’s a great mid-level HD monitor package with built-in speakers, built-in hub for connecting devices, and a high quality ergonomic stand. It also comes with USB-C and HDMI cables so you can get going right out of the box. I’m running it with a Macbook Pro, Logitech MX Keys for Mac, and Logitech Triathlon M720. The built-in hub allows me to connect the keyboard and mouse without needing any external hubs. My only knock is the speakers which are a little weak, but everything else is great thus far.
