Whether you’re being productive or entertained, the LG 27UK500-B 27″ 16:9 FreeSync IPS Monitor delivers exceptional picture quality to enhance your everyday needs. The 27″ IPS (In-Plane Switching) display supports 3840 x 2160 UHD 4K resolution and shows 1.07 billion colors with HDR10, covering 98% of the sRGB spectrum. That means exceptionally high quality and lifelike images and videos. This monitor also features a 300 cd/m² brightness rating, a 1000:1 static contrast ratio, and a 5 ms gray-to-gray response time to produce an optimal viewing experience. Additionally, the 27UK500-B has a 60 Hz refresh rate and uses AMD FreeSync technology to reduce screen tearing, stuttering, and artifacts when playing fast action games.
Two HDMI and DisplayPort inputs are available for connecting your computer and other video sources. Its included stand allows for tilt adjustments, or you can use the VESA mounting holes to attach the monitor to onto a wall, a compatible arm, or alternate stand. With the wide 178°/178° viewing angles, you’ll be able to see a clear picture from almost any position.

I was looking for an affordable 4k display with good colors (IPS) for my wife. She has a 13 laptop for work and has said this has been a huge relief to her eyes when she is working in office. I wanted to get her a 4k display for crisp text and also allow her to load up multiple documents to reference at a time. The panel has been perfect for her needs. The construction and finish of the monitor is fine for the money. Plastic is quite thin at the front bezel and is not flush to the panel in places, but it doesn’t matter, the money was put into the display and a pretty solid stand – exactly where it was needed.

Received this monitor and it was defective. Returned to LG and one month later had to follow up with them since I had received no contact info. Monitor needed a part that would require at least another additional month before it would be in stock and they could repair. This was with a brand new monitor.

I tried two other monitors brands before settling on this LG 27″ monitor. It works well with my iMac 2019 and the display color matches with the iMac display colors. I found other monitors had more a yellow tint and this one did not. I had heard LG supplied Mac monitors in the past, I felt that was an advantage for choosing this monitor. It is easy use the menu to adjust the brightness and colors, etc. Its nice that there isn’t any annoying light on the monitor to tell you that its off. I would recommend this monitor.

I could not be happier with my LG FreeSync Monitor. I use it all the time as the secondary screen with my MacBook Pro. While I don’t edit on it, it’s great for all secondary windows and displays. I would highly recommend!
