The resolution is good. The screen isn’t perfect, with some white balance and consistency issues, but for the price it’s a really solid monitor.

I have owned this monitor for a year and a half now and I can personally vouch for its quality and reliability. I have (literally) used this screen every day since March of 2021 and it has proven a great value panel for what you’re getting; the picture quality is great for a VA panel and there is almost zero backlight bleed or unevenness visible in dark images compared to many other LCD panels. The contrast ratio is one of the draws to VA despite the fact that pixel motion blur is a notable issue, but thankfully this monitor does better in that regard than several previous VA panels I have tried and/or owned. Just don’t expect this to be a killer panel for gaming due to its low 60Hz refresh rate-although I do game on it as well and Freesync on it works great all the way down to around 42Hz, which is lower than most Freesync panels support. Overall I would definitely recommend this monitor for someone looking for a great quality 4K desktop screen with the excellent contrast ratio that VA panels can provide. Just ensure you know what you’re buying, and that its few caveats won’t be an issue for you, and you are sure to have a reasonably priced yet quality 4K monitor that serves it purpose well.

Im not much of a tech geek, but I there were a few things I was looking for in a monitor. Here’s how this one stacks up. Big: check. Its big l. High Rez, crisp display: no complaints. Refresh rate:. I wanted high resolution AND fast refresh, but that is out of my budget and the high rez was more important. Video games look fine to me, including FPS (Doom Eternal) but maybe not if thats your main consideration. Definitely not for a serious gamer. This isn’t the monitors fault. Like I said, I made a budget decision. Dark darks. Deep blacks:. This is my main irritation. Static dark backgrounds look terrible. I don’t notice when playing games or watching videos, but when Im typing or web browsing in dark mode, there are visible lighter and darker bands depending on viewing angle. And because the monitor is so big, there is no single ideal viewing angle . So I kind of bob my head left and right to focus on any one part of the screen. This may be a technology limitation for this type of display, but it isn’t something I really could have understood until I saw it. And since I’m using primarily for work (typing), and because I like using a dark background save my eyes, this is kind if a bummer. All in all, however, its a servicable display and I think a good value for the price. I don’t regret it. I just wish I had the budget for a top tier display. Sigh….

I bought this monitor after researching several brands and reading reviews. I use this primarily for video editing. Colors are accurate and the screen space is welcome compared to my laptop. The built-in speakers are nice for limited desk space. I do wish it had separate volume buttons on the bezel, but not a deal breaker for me. Connected via a USB-C to Displayport cable.

I’ve been using this for a month and a half now as a second monitor. It initially was to be my primary PC gaming monitor, but the lack of darks I need for night gaming (both gaming at night and scenes in gaming that are night oriented). However, for daytime gaming it is outstanding. I mostly use MSFS and racing sims. Good contrast and brightness and good mouse and keyboard response time. Solid stand base which gives the monitor stability when using a force feedback racing wheel and the table shakes. One detail I really appreciated is that LG included both HDMI and DP cables to run this monitor in the box for whatever your video output ports are. The only reason I am using this as a second monitor is due to the aforementioned lack of deep black levels for night gaming and night scenes. I decided to go the LG C1 OLED TV route for that. This is just the inherent shortcoming of side or backlit LED LCDs, so if you do not care about gaming at night in pitch dark in your room as well as in night gaming scenes, this is a great value. I knocked 1 star from 5 due to a few dead pixels on the screen in the left center.

I bought two of these and want to return them both. The display is weirdly contrasty and washed out. I have tried every setting for display and they all make it worse. Almost impossible to read on no matter what I do.

I bought this a couple of months ago. I had a smaller 2nd monitor to my work laptop but it still couldn’t display everything I needed open and to view multiple files simultaneously. This monitor added that capability at a good price.
