The 34UM68-P 34" 21:9 UltraWide FreeSync IPS Monitor from LG features an ultra-wide display that’s suitable for both work and play. For work and multitasking purposes, an ultra-wide display lets you have multiple windows side by side, or one large window where you can see all the details. On the other hand, gaming on this monitor will feel more immersive as the large screen takes up most of your field of view, putting you right in the middle of the action.
With a 2560 x 1080 resolution, the 34UM68-P provides you with crisp and clear pictures. It is constructed with an In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel, which has wide viewing angles and immersive colors. Combined with a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 300 cd/m² brightness rating, 8-bit color support, and a 5 ms response time, you’ll be able to enjoy vivid, lag-free content reproduction with darker blacks and brighter bright colors.
Furthermore, this monitor supports FreeSync (Adaptive Sync) technology through DisplayPort, which synchronizes your graphics card with the display to output content at variable refresh rates, eliminating screen stuttering and tearing. Connect this display to your system via DisplayPort or HDMI, then tilt and adjust its height to your viewing preference. Otherwise, you can install a different mount or stand using the VESA mounting pattern holes on the back.

The picture and quality are very good, but the controls are a little wrong. Settings change or can not be locked. Using this as a monitor, even thought it has a PC setting, has issues with picture sizing. Also minor pressure on a video, HDMI, cable can cause a loss of video input. Why have wireless connection settings on a unit that does not have wireless capability? Overall O.K. but could be better.

I have had this monitor for several months. I have a second monitor but almost don’t need it because of the widescreen. The only down side is the on/off switch. To turn it off you must hold the switch in for several seconds. You can turn it on with just a quick click but not off.

Love this monitor everything about it even the stand is amazing. My only gripe is that i wish it had higher than 75hz and g-sync but thats not realistic given when (the date) i purchased it. Otherwise its amazing.

I got this to go with a new stand up desk as a replacement for my old 5 x 1080p setup. I used this for work and my laptop (Lenovo W520) can only do native resolution at 30hz, for me that is not a big deal since I do web development and a bunch of remote terminals for my daily tasks. The color is good; viewing angles good and surprisingly the speakers are pretty decent for built in (dont expect any thumping lows, but the 3D sound is actually pretty immersive). Not having so many displays forces me to focus on the code; which is a joy now that I can see panels on both sides of my IDE with my code perfectly centered (no more side scrolling to see long lines!). I just alt-tab between my IDE and browser. I tried doing the IDE and browser side by side but you are not getting 2 x 1080p displays, more like 1.5. Once I ugprade my laptop I will probably go for the 1440p version of this monitor (I would go 4K but last time I used 4k I got headaches from looking at tiny text all day (that was a 29 LCD))

I purchased this for work, to connect to my 2013 macbook pro – running Mojave (I use a docking station). It connected without incident and has worked flawlessly – no drivers to install. I purchased it mainly to have 2 apps running side by side, and this is a great tool. Would buy again. The screen is very nice.

This is my 2nd work station upgrade and very happy with this larger screen. I use it with my laptop and the LG software allowing you to partition the display in many configurations while using the laptop display as well! Definitely a game changer than viewing from the laptop display.

Very beautiful monitor, stylish, high quality, sleek. Colors are vibrant. The price for a monitor of this size and quality is unbeatable. I’m giving it 4 stars because text and images could be more a little more crisp and clear. I’m a professional graphic designer and really should have a 4K HDR, but that’s WAY out of my budget. I’m calling this an “in between” monitor until I can afford a 4K HDR or perhaps the prices will go down on the higher quality monitors. This IS a great monitor for just about all uses though. I’d recommend it for almost anyone. The size is, well, WOW! I upgraded from an HP 27″ VGA monitor that was 10 years old. It’s crazy though that my 10 year old HP monitor has just as good of quality as this one (actually, a little better quality), but it was time for a bigger screen. I’m using the 27″ with my laptop now. I DO highly recommend this monitor, especially if you’re on a budget like me. EXCEPTIONAL value!

I bought this monitor at the end of December 2018. After doing some research, I felt this monitor was the best one within my price point. This monitor replaced a 24in LG monitor that was 8 years old and still works so I knew LG was reliable. This monitor is amazing! It has IPS technology which produces a higher display quality and better colors. These were the first things I noticed when I turned on this monitor for the first time. This is the best gaming monitor I have ever purchased. I play a lot of FPS type games and motion blur reduction holds true. Easy menu navigation, great software, height adjustable stand and looks great. I had such a great gaming experience with this monitor that a bought another one.
