The 34UM68-P 34" 21:9 UltraWide FreeSync IPS Monitor from LG features an ultra-wide display that’s suitable for both work and play. For work and multitasking purposes, an ultra-wide display lets you have multiple windows side by side, or one large window where you can see all the details. On the other hand, gaming on this monitor will feel more immersive as the large screen takes up most of your field of view, putting you right in the middle of the action.
With a 2560 x 1080 resolution, the 34UM68-P provides you with crisp and clear pictures. It is constructed with an In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel, which has wide viewing angles and immersive colors. Combined with a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 300 cd/m² brightness rating, 8-bit color support, and a 5 ms response time, you’ll be able to enjoy vivid, lag-free content reproduction with darker blacks and brighter bright colors.
Furthermore, this monitor supports FreeSync (Adaptive Sync) technology through DisplayPort, which synchronizes your graphics card with the display to output content at variable refresh rates, eliminating screen stuttering and tearing. Connect this display to your system via DisplayPort or HDMI, then tilt and adjust its height to your viewing preference. Otherwise, you can install a different mount or stand using the VESA mounting pattern holes on the back.

Now I will say the speakers are nothing to write home about but they work just fine for my office. Price per feature, I don’t think you will get a better monitor.

10 months ago This LG wide-screen monitor is perfect for multiple window applications running on a PC. I have found it to be much more convenient than having 2 monitors, both for saving of desk space and having all windows readily accessible. The monitor is has good connectivity, excellent value and I would strongly recommend it for desk-top use.

I’ve had this monitor now for most of 2017 and it’s been a solid monitor. The only problem with this monitor is the software for it, screws up everytime you plug in the HDMI cable, or when you put your computer into sleep mode and open it up all the applications that are on default on a different screen end up all being moved over to this monitor. I don’t have this monitor as default it is for design only. Great picture, sound isn’t to bad either.

The monitor is great with good color, but not the best one for a Mac. I had to try three different dongles before I found one that worked properly. There is no way to control the speaker levels in the monitor from the Mac. Sometimes when the Mac is asleep and wakes up the monitor doesn’t wake up. I have to uplug and then plug in the dongle to wake up the monitor

Great monitor. Love the split screen features. Able to open up to 4 applications and work. No more ‘alt tab’ for me 🙂 No lag on video streaming and 1080 comes out excellent.

I have 2 years working with this monitor, it have been great to be able to open a program and don’t be worry about space or moving the tools from side to side, the matte surface avoid undesirable reflexions and is very easy to clean without scratch it. The 2560×1080 pixels quality is fine, however I would like to try a
