The 34UM68-P 34" 21:9 UltraWide FreeSync IPS Monitor from LG features an ultra-wide display that’s suitable for both work and play. For work and multitasking purposes, an ultra-wide display lets you have multiple windows side by side, or one large window where you can see all the details. On the other hand, gaming on this monitor will feel more immersive as the large screen takes up most of your field of view, putting you right in the middle of the action.
With a 2560 x 1080 resolution, the 34UM68-P provides you with crisp and clear pictures. It is constructed with an In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel, which has wide viewing angles and immersive colors. Combined with a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 300 cd/m² brightness rating, 8-bit color support, and a 5 ms response time, you’ll be able to enjoy vivid, lag-free content reproduction with darker blacks and brighter bright colors.
Furthermore, this monitor supports FreeSync (Adaptive Sync) technology through DisplayPort, which synchronizes your graphics card with the display to output content at variable refresh rates, eliminating screen stuttering and tearing. Connect this display to your system via DisplayPort or HDMI, then tilt and adjust its height to your viewing preference. Otherwise, you can install a different mount or stand using the VESA mounting pattern holes on the back.

The monitor has a great view en colors. You’re able to use two or three program screens, at he same time. A 4k monitor for your computer at home, is’nt necessary.

I’ve had this monitor a few weeks now. First it’s really big. I love that. Easy to get going with the display port and windows 10 operating system. Love multitasking two pages side by side. The only con I’ve found is the page length is about an inch shorter that my last 25 inch monitor. I have to scroll to see the bottom of each page. I’m using the native resolution. But overall it’s great.

I bought this monitor because the specifications indicated it could to 75hz @ 2560×1080 on LGs product webpage. However, it can only do 60hz which makes it a major failure in my book. LG even confirmed this quality assurance/marketing failure after I spent over a month trouble shooting and them working with their overseas engineers who designed this junk. The image quality is OK, but many popular brands do as good or better for cheaper prices than what I paid while living up to their other major selling points.

Bought it for my wife who is a heavy user of Excel spreadsheets. She loves it, it really helps with boosting her productivity because of the fact of how many columns are visible. It has some really great features especially the software the manage windows for such a large area. Now Win 10 has a pretty cool control feature for managing multiple windows but LG’s software is great too. I do find that the color is slightly on the warm side.

This is the 3rd LG 34 monitor that i have purchased and i am more than happy with them. I don’t have room for 2 monitors, so having a single large monitor is a blessing. I had/have an issue with my first two purchases and i don’t see that problem in the new one. If you need a large real estate, this monitor is for you!
