For a number of years I would argue that “the fonts don’t show properly on Apple!” Sorry Apple…My screens were getting old and I decided to take the dual setup into one wrap around. Only challenge was the size choice. I ended up ordering an LG (all TVs are Samsung) and setup was very easy and screen operational in no time. If I’d have anything negative to say it would be on me. Two more inches would have been perfect. Anything else would make me cross eyed.

I purchased the 38 inch version of this monitor because I though the larger one would be too big. This is a perfect monitor for video/photo editing. I’m not a gamer so cannot comment on its gaming ability. Color calibration and rendition is wonderful. May buy another one to place above the one I purchased.

Ok, stop looking, this is the best value for the money. Light weight, adjustable angle and up and down is so easy. The mechanism to raise/lower is amazing, no more headaches, arching my neck for proper viewing angle. The picture quality using the display port is beyond expectations, zero lag, nothing beats LG quality and value, I’m impressed!

Sharpness, contrast, and color are all excellent. The clarity of text is the best I have ever seen. Using an HDMI connection, there were no settings or adjustment required. I connected my Edifier desktop speakers to the audio jack on the monitor. The monitor has its own volume control which acts as a second layer of volume setting in line with the computer volume control. Not a problem once you know that and adjust it one time. I use Fancy Zones, a free Microsoft utility to manage preset layouts for multiple windows in this huge workspace. Recommended. Very, very happy with this monitor!

Been working from home since the beginning of Covid and finally took the plunge to buy a large monitor so I can stop using my laptop – to have once place for all my screens. And I couldn’t be happier than my LG 38″ monitor. The screen is beautiful and I was up and running within 3 minutes of opening the box. I now get excited to work! 🙂

Bought it like month ago, very crisp, colors are excellent, no bleeding of backlight that I can see and no dead pixels. I bought it specifically for 3D graphic design and currently running it in 125% windows mode, because everything looks way too small (that’s Windows 11 for you, lol)… Viewing angles as advertised and HDR mode is fantastic, everything really pops 🙂 Overall, I’m very happy with it, we will see how it holds up over time 🙂 I suspect everything will be fine since IPS panels from LG are used by lots of other respectable brands. Cheers 😉

The curved display is very helpful when it is very wide. I tried a 40 flat monitor for a couple months but I had to move horizontally to view it evenly. I noticed that it is easier to move horizontally than vertically. So a very wide, curved monitor is the best shape. Of course this high resolution makes it great to have a lot of real estate. For example, I can view 4 pages of a document at 100%. I give this monitor a 5-star rating.

I bought a LG 38 Ultrawide monitor and am so happy with it! I can put multiple windows at once and finish the task much faster and easier. Thanks LG
