Enhance your computer build with style and efficiency with the LANCOOL II Mesh RGB Mid-Tower Case from Lian Li. Built to fully optimize airflow for high-performance systems, this white steel mid-tower case features a ventilated mesh grille front panel alongside honeycomb vents and a mesh bottom left shroud panel. Its front also includes three 120mm 1300 rpm fans with addressable RGB LEDs that can be customized with a variety of dazzling lighting effects to match your game, mood, and style. Dedicated color and lighting mode switching buttons are located on the top panel, allowing you to quickly adjust the ARGB effects without having to use software.
The LANCOOL II Mesh RGB’s removable bracket makes it easy to install up to three 120 or two 140mm fans, or a 360mm radiator on the front panel. The bracket can also be positioned in four different configurations to optimize cooling for your build. Up to two 120 or 140mm fans can be installed on the top for maximum airflow, or you can mount a 240mm radiator for liquid cooling. You can also install up to two 120mm fans on an internal panel for dedicated PSU cooling.
The LANCOOL II Mesh RGB has seven full-size expansion slots with a modular drive cage that holds up to three 2.5/3.5″ storage drives. Dual 2.5″ drive mounts can be found behind the motherboard tray, on the bottom-right flip shroud, and above the PSU chamber. Both sides feature hinged magnetic tempered glass panels, providing a full view of your build. Specialized cover plates offer easy cable management while hiding them from sight. Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports and a 3.5mm audio jack are built into the top panel for easy access.

I switched from a Meshify C Mini to this case and it’s been wonderful. I was always happy with my Meshify case, but once I bought a 6900XT no matter what position I put my front 140mm’s, the card would get so hot it would thermal throttle from time to time. The heat it produces gets pocketed in the bottom of the case above the PSU shroud really bad. On top of having good airflow, this case allows for user to place two 120mm fans below the GPU. Under 100% GPU load, my 6900XT now runs in the upper 70’s Celsius. Because of this the GPU fans went from 1600-1800 rpm, to around 500-800 rpm so the GPU is silent. I took off one star because the included fans are garbage. At least mine were. I’m sure they’ll run for 100,000 hours, but they have an awful tick noise that doesn’t go away regardless of RPM. For whatever reason, the 120mm in the back was the worst. So even though my cooling was incredible, the case noises coming from it was unbearable. I had previously purchased a value 5-pack of black Artic P12 PST’s that were in my Meshify, so I put two on top, one in back, and the other two below the GPU. Then I ordered two black Artic P14’s for intake. The case is now whisper quiet while gaming and at idle. I also love the included PWM hub. They’re hooked to my intake fans. If the rating is for the case by itself without the fans, it’s a 5/5 star.

This case has a cable system behind the motherboard to hide cables and make everything clean and pretty. The power tucks in underneath and your GPU, cooling system, and internals are all on display. The RGB at the front is easy to adjust to your favourite pattern or colour. I had challenges with the cable tucking system, though. The front of the case has a torrent of cables, which competes with the power cables for your SATA drives and motherboard connectors. It’s not obvious how they wanted the motherboard power supply to connect, so mine just comes through the bottom over the motherboard. But, this is all a complaint due to lack of creativity and not options. There are a plethora of hidden cable vents to make sure they’re well hidden and organized. The nicest thing is that the case is designed for maximum environmental cooling. The power and SATA drives are separated in the bottom, cooled by the flow of air through the bottom RGB fans and power fan. The top of the case uses the two front RGB combined with a CPU cooling fan (if you have one) to keep the middle cabinet cool. There’s space for an optional 420mm (I think?) at the back and the top, front, and back are all mesh to permit maximum air flow. If you want an optical drive, then the bottom left cabinet opens to show a SATA-connected optical drive, but I use an external USB-drive myself, so I leave the cabinet closed most of the time. The top of the case has two mesh layers to reduce issues with dust, which is a serious issue in my office with low airflow (I have to use an air purifier). All-in-all, solid design. The next iteration is probably going to land on the ideal setup.

This case has awesome airflow and easy structure to customize my build to my liking. The only downside is the hole by the handle on the front mesh cover, but that can easily be fixed by a DIY make shift mesh cover.

Needed a 3D printed cover to place underneath the Lian LI branding logo, because there was a gap for dust to pull in there. It is otherwise a fantastic case! Great airflow and keeps my components cool.

I can’t say enough about this great case. If keeps everything cool. Everytime I order from B&H they have great customer service and fast shipping. They are a top notch company.

Full disclosure I have not built in the case yet as I am waiting for the ryzen 4000 and the rtx 3000. Snagged this case while it was in stock somehow. Shipping was quick and packaged very well. The case looks great and will have tons of room to put a rtx 3000 in it. The case does not come with an actual USB-C front input or splitter for the preinstalled fans (need to purchase them separately if you want).

The case arrived with outer box completely destroyed. It looked like the courier was dragging it through the street behind their car. I was worried the case would be damaged but when i opened it up the case was perfectly intact with damage. This is a testament to how great the packaging is on these i guess. Other than that, the case is awesome so far and my thermals are looking better than ever.

This my first new build since 2013, and it is by far the most expensive case I’ve personally used. It is much more pleasant to use than the $60-and-under cases I’m used to. I didn’t notice any sharp edges, and all items fit in the case without any struggles. The fold-out panels are nice. It makes for very easy access to everything. The switch to adjust fan speed is nice. I turn it up when I’m gaming, and down when I’m not. It’s not small by any means. The nice part is nearly anything can fit inside. But if you’re looking for something with a smaller footprint, this not the one for you. I would buy this one again. Very nice piece.

I’ve built with a lot of cases, but this is my first time using Lian Li after hearing so many great things about them. Turns out all that praise was completely accurate, this thing is brilliantly laid out. Having basically everything being thumb screw or magnetic makes modifications and cleaning really easy. Airflow is brilliant, I’m sure this will handle and disperse 3080-90 heat levels without any problems. Built in LED fans are great and have great features built into the case controller itself as well as an option to just bypass the controller to use whatever the mobo/sync program is telling them. Some Con’s: As with most any case with tempered glass panels on both sides, setting it on it’s side for the initial mobo installation can be a pain. I know some people can keep the case upright while doing this but I simply don’t have enough hands. No rear fan—I feel like thermals would be fine even without one, but I went ahead and bought some additional Lian Li RGB fans for that and spares. Really impressed with the quality and design on this case and would highly recommend it.

I love the case, it was easy to work in, as a first timer using this case it took a little rework here and there as I made mistakes but it was easy to work through. The instructions are lacking but its pretty intuitive. Great air flow, my temps dropped 10 degrees from my old cooler master box.

Great case. Pretty easy to build with. The HDD cage is a bit fiddly and was not screwed on. It’s pretty stiff and isn’t moving without a bit of force, so I’m not worried about the screw. It’s hard to get it placed right on the track, and I’m not quite sure I’ve got the HDD plugged in right with the cables in the back, as the cables have to go on the outside. I am not a fan of tempered glass and you have to be pretty careful with it during the build, however this case seemed to be the best for this budget otherwise. The fans are fairly quiet, but not silent. I may replace those with something quieter.

I just completed my build in the Lian Li LANCOOL II Mesh last night, and in the last 15 years of building computers, this has been the most pleasurable case to build in. Extremely good cable management and cleanliness, with ease of access and enough room to install all your components. The end result is fantastic as well, a very clean aesthetic with low operating noise and temperatures. I’m extremely satisfied with this case!

Just like all YouTube reviews mentioned, this box does keep my system surprisingly cooler than I thought. The best case I’ve ever purchased to date as far as thermals.

I’d read a few of reviews from trusted tech sites on this case and it seemed perfect for the wife’s new build. She is a bit sensitive to lights, so this mid-tower non-RGB case with two 140mm fans in front/one 120mm rear fit the bill. It was well packaged and arrived via FedEx without damage. It’s a strikingly handsome case, nicely constructed, has a mesh front and a tempered glass panel on both the left & right sides. If I didn’t already have a case for my new Alder Lake build, I’d order another one for myself.

Ok, so there’s a reason everyone loves these cases. In fact, there’s many reasons. All the side panels are hinged? Yes, I never want to go back. The fan mounts below the gpu with the lower-left side panel being perforated? Literally thought of forcing this on my old cases, but now I don’t have to, such a cool look and man does it blow [air] in all the right ways. I love the width, love the cable management, love the modularity (I completely removed the HDD rack/trays from psu shroud for uninhibited airflow), love the venting. Oh, and I love the white. Only oddity, but I sort of understand why it do be like that.. the front panel has a cutout which functions as the purchase for removing said front panel, which doubles as a Trojan horse for dust. I taped over mine, maybe could have done something more interesting or creative here, but it’s not visible and is now closed off, so meh. If not this exact case, my next case will at least be Lian Li.

I really have nothing to say for this case as it speaks for itself. I mainly got the case due to all the positive reviews that tech youtubers made, and I am not disappointed. I went from an old outdated case with barely any room, to this and the amount of room created was amazing. My cpu temperatures even dropped a little too. Overall, this case is a great choice to get if you’re looking for a Mid-Tower case. I would also take a look at the youtube videos reviewing this case, as they go more in-depth of what you’re getting out of this case.
