Enhance your computer build with style and efficiency with the LANCOOL II Mesh RGB Mid-Tower Case from Lian Li. Built to fully optimize airflow for high-performance systems, this white steel mid-tower case features a ventilated mesh grille front panel alongside honeycomb vents and a mesh bottom left shroud panel. Its front also includes three 120mm 1300 rpm fans with addressable RGB LEDs that can be customized with a variety of dazzling lighting effects to match your game, mood, and style. Dedicated color and lighting mode switching buttons are located on the top panel, allowing you to quickly adjust the ARGB effects without having to use software.
The LANCOOL II Mesh RGB’s removable bracket makes it easy to install up to three 120 or two 140mm fans, or a 360mm radiator on the front panel. The bracket can also be positioned in four different configurations to optimize cooling for your build. Up to two 120 or 140mm fans can be installed on the top for maximum airflow, or you can mount a 240mm radiator for liquid cooling. You can also install up to two 120mm fans on an internal panel for dedicated PSU cooling.
The LANCOOL II Mesh RGB has seven full-size expansion slots with a modular drive cage that holds up to three 2.5/3.5″ storage drives. Dual 2.5″ drive mounts can be found behind the motherboard tray, on the bottom-right flip shroud, and above the PSU chamber. Both sides feature hinged magnetic tempered glass panels, providing a full view of your build. Specialized cover plates offer easy cable management while hiding them from sight. Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports and a 3.5mm audio jack are built into the top panel for easy access.

I ordered this case after seeing a few reviews stating it was great for airflow. The case is a really solid build with good weight to it. The three included fans are very quiet on all but the highest setting, and if you’re looking to mount additional fans, there’s room for more at the top and bottom of the case. The case fits an ATX motherboard with ease, and can also accommodate an E-ATX by changing a plate position, but I don’t have personal experience with that and can’t comment further. I really like that there are panels on the right side of the case to cover up your cable management. It just makes everything look even tidier, and hides mess if you’re not so good at cable management (like me). The thumb screws on my unit were extra tight so keep that screwdriver handy for removing them. The glass panels are beautiful, but I wish that there were a way to open them without flipping down the panels at the bottom first. I don’t see myself opening the panels often, so it’s an easily ignored nitpick. The magnets that keep the panels closed are very strong, so please be gentle when closing them, and watch your fingers. Another small problem I had was with the video card clearance. The manual states that there’s 384mm of clearance for the video card. The RTX 2060 Super that I have in my build is 301mm, and while it does have enough clearance from back to front, the card was making direct contact with one of the panels on the right side of the case (the aforementioned panel that you would rotate for an E-ATX board). A little force let me bend the panel out of the way a tiny bit to avoid the direct contact and scraping. This was a tiny inconvenience, but one I want to mention because you may want to check for this yourself when installing your own card. The fans connect to an included hub on the right of the case and they accept PWM fans so that they can be controlled via the 4-position switch on the top of the case (Light, Medium, High, Auto). There are also two USB 3.0 ports and a space for a USB-C port, but it requires an additional cable which you will have to purchase and install separately. Otherwise you’ll just have to settle for the rubber stopper that is in its place. I’m also happy that the light around the power button is a simple white LED. I’m looking forward to having this case around for a long time.

This is a piece of beauty with fantastic engineering for robust cooling features. Three fans built-in and a lot of mesh to properly provide air to the system makes is one of the best cases for overclocking enthusiasts. It is indeed heavy, probably the metal used in it is quite good quality. it helps to manage cables very good and hides them behind the plates so your computer looks elegant and clean from both sides. Highly recommended.

I’ve made over 200 computers and used many different types of cases, but this one takes the cake. In my opinion, this is the best case ever made or will be. I will buy only this case in the future because I can not imagine a better case. It has room for 8 fans and will accommodate and motherboard you have. because the doors come off and the base opens up it is easy to work on. It had 3 places for hot-swap 2,5 and 3,5 drives. If you want a great case… this is it.

This case is amazing. It is as though Lan Li really made the best case of every kind. It is not too big and not too small is very versatile and has room for up to 3 rads. It comes with 3 RGB fans, ventilated PSU shroud with mounts for SSD or Fans, no need to take the shroud out because the mesh side panel folds down for easy access. The Hard drive cage can slide back to make room for a 360 rad in the front, or slide it all the way forward to maximize PSU access. If you want , just take the cage out. They offer a kit to make the cage hot swappable. Two shrouds make cable management problems just “disappear.” Two beautiful glass sides are held in place by magnets and swing out to be removed without any tools. My only issue: you must purchase a USB type C kit to put in the top of the case-this should have been included. If you don’t need USB C you are stuck with a rubber plug on top to cover the hole. A separate LED diffused strip can be purchased to add to the front side glass housing and looks awesome. You can get an adapter on eBay to make these work with Corsair Commander Pro or use Lan Li’s new software. Cable management loops everywhere and plenty of room behind the motherboard tray for fan controllers, LED Hubs, SSD’s, and custom extensions. It doesn’t really get much better than this for the price. Well thought out and beautifully executed. The smartest front panel setup you ever saw. There are 4 optional ways to mount rads /fans by flipping the tray or using different slots-so smart! I am running a Z390Aorus Ultra, i9-9900k, 32gb or DDR4 14CL memory from GSkill, 240mm Corsair AIO, 6 120mm LL series rgb fans connected to a Corsair Commander Pro and RGB hub. Thermals on the CPU stay cool even over locked to [email protected]. Never get above 78-79 running Cinebench 20 for 30 min. GPU is 2080super OC and never gets above 60-62. There is so much to like about this case, the paint job is flawless, every detail is thought of. Excellently engineered and beautiful.

Prior to buying this case, I already read on how amazing this case is in terms of cooling, building and managing cables in, so it is a great feeling when you experience these things yourself when you actually start putting together your PC. Working in this case was extremely comfortable and it felt great. The side panels do not have any screws and held to the case by magnets, which was new (and a plus) to me. If you are looking for a mesh case with great airflow and an easy time building, look no further than this one right here. Would highly recommend.

This case was a breeze to work in and put together a nice new white theme 12th gen intel build. It has great cord management, lots of room in the power supply area (especially if you remove the hard drive caddy), and lots of options on fans. Very cool internal temps so far also. The ease of access on both sides with the panels was great also. The only negative thing that people mention is the clang when the doors close due to magnets.

By far probably one of the best PC cases you can buy. The build experience is really unique and they help a lot with cable management. The built in fan controller is an amazing bonus, my PC is so silent it’s crazy. The temps are really good, and the placement of x2 120mm fans at the bottom of the video card is a simple but great idea. On the Z690 platform I have no cooling issues with air cooling and would highly recommend this case.

I really wanted to rate this case 5 stars, but I can’t and here’s why. First let’s start with the pro’s. The case feels solid all around and ridged even around the mesh pieces. I really expected the mesh to be somewhat flimsy given holes where drilled into it. speaking of the holes, the machining of these case is, for lack of a better word, perfect. By that I mean I haven’t found any shard pieces yet the will slice me open while trying to build in it. The hinges to the doors and the side panels seem well built and seem like it can be open frequently if need. Now if I’m going to nit pick i really wish there was a way to open the side panels without having to pull down the bottom panel first. small inconvenience but not a deal breaker. Also there is no way to lock the panel doors in place… they are just hold on by magnets. Thankfully those magnets appear to be strong. Finally the reason why I rated the case a 4 star and 5 is because somewhere between the factory and arriving to me one of the little nubs that slots in to the door panel fell off and was rattling in the cage. Its still usable, but when you pay for something you expect it to come free of defects. For that I cannot give the case a 5 star, but I do give this case my full recommendation. I bought the black RGB version.

The case has excellent airflow and good access to all components. The 3 RGB fans are a really nice touch. I moved one to the back to act as an exhaust fan. If you want to keep all three up front, I’d get an extra fan.

I’ve owned a ton of cases in 25 years of PC enthusiasm, and will be replacing 2 NZXT cases with this one. Cable management is a breeze. My only pc not getting this case is my server, because it doesn’t have room for all the drives.

Ordered to Canada, shipping was easy with duties precalculated and relatively fast. The fine mesh on the front and side of the PSU shroud make for amazing airflow in this case. RGB fans look good and worked right out of the box, just need sata power. The build quality is great. The cable covers on the back side make for a very easy, clean look. Having two tempered glass side panels makes the case decently heavy, but also adds to the solid build quality. The screws holding the vents on top of the PSU shroud are a little tough to get out.

My younger son got one and liked it. My older son decided to get the same one (just in a different color). Weird thing about the case is that the fan insets that are over the power supply don’t fit Lian Li’s own daisy-chained fans – had to cut off a flange (which would be used to connect one fan with the next) with a Dremel to get them to fit.
