You really have to position it perfectly to get it to function. Also it has to be focused on a dark color that does not like certain lighter colors.

White Snowflake Strobing Projection LightThis is a fun little light and stake that projects a strobing/flashing white snowflake pattern graphic on a surface (like a wall, or the outside of your house). Just 10-15 feet away from the wall it will fill the whole side of your house. It is a compact unit that appears to be well sealed/weatherproof. It has a built in stake that attaches to the light with a ball and socket type connection to allow the light to be aimed as needed. The snowflake pattern rotates/flashes/blinks quite rapidly shining one large and multiple small snowflake patterns dance on the wall. This is a great winter/holiday projection light decoration. It is only white, no other color. We are excitedly waiting for the winter holidays to be able to use this decoration.

We had two reasons for getting this snowflake strobe. 1. We like to overdo Christmas. The light provides a clear image close up or at a distance. I have some big walls in the house and I was able to get a clear image on a 25 ft. x25 ft wall. I also was able to get a decent image at 40 -50 foot away on a bigger wall outside. I also used it as a ground effect. One really big snowflake. 2. the second reason I had to get this. My daughter is a university student, and the news has portrayed many students as being snowflakes. Look it up, lol. Any way she was having a party at our house. Lots of kids. I set up the snowflake projection as a center piece [in September]. It was the life of the party and everyone got the joke. Worth every penny and I cannot wait till Christmas to use it again.

Plug it in and go! This was about as quick and easy as it could be. Plug into extension cord, place it where you want it (inside or out) and the strobe starts creating flashing snowflakes, all over the outside of your house, or even inside the grand kids room. The light comes with the plastic stake to push into the ground where you want it outside, and all that’s necessary is to plug it in.

This projector puts out a very crisp image. It actually has two separate lenses, and the slightly different images from each lens alternate. But they alternate back and forth pretty fast, which gives it what I call the Las Vegas “Girls Girls Girls!” effect–kind of brazen and flashy. If that’s what you’re looking for, great. If not, keep shopping :-). It’d be nice if it had an adjustment for speed so you could slow it down, or if you could set it to fade between the two instead of the sharp back and forth, but the only adjustment is On or Off. It’s another tool in our Christmas tool box, so we’ll keep it around when we need that look, but it won’t often be my first choice. I rate it excellent because it’s good at doing what it says it will (strobe), but turns out Strobe is not for me.

My sister likes snowflakes so I will be putting this projection light to shine on the side of the house that she can see better than the rest of the house when I put up the Christmas lights. The light strobes so that it looks more like snowflakes falling down. I’m getting to old to be hanging up strings of lights and I don’t need a ladder to put these projection lights up.

I really like the effect that this light produces as it’s very clear and the snowflake image get’s larger the further you place the stake from where you’re projecting the image. It’s very bright and is easily seen. I didn’t realize that it only strobes and it would have been nice to have the option of either strobing or non strobing as the flashing can be a little much, but overall a very nice effect.

Excellent indoor item for holiday parties. Brings a space to life for a dancing atmosphere. If you have an open upstairs, project it above the crowd – in a single story light up a back wall. You can used it outside, it looks best if you don’t try to cover a space that is more than the size of the average garage door. You want the details to be seen Its more of a large focal point – between 2 windows would also work.Does look great in the dark.I don’t think the specifications are correct – mine only has the snowflake option.

The White Strobing Snowflake Projection Stake will add to your holiday décor. The durable black plastic construction housing and clear plastic lens is attached to a 5 foot cord. It comes with a yard stake and projects a white blinking snowflake design up to 15 feet. Unfortunately it has only the strobe feature and only the one snowflake design. Can be used indoors or out.
